Before this artwork I created one underneath it, then rage quit and painted this one. My previous artwork was a woman sailing away from an island and I called it ‘Leaving’ because I realised I’d grown differently to my friends and didn’t fit in anymore. Instead, I didn’t like it and kept the mountain then split it and called it ‘Focus’ because I’m super focused on realising my goals as an artist. Still working on it!
