Stacking Oceans Close Up 1 Oil Painting

This is a cubist painting I created, which is one of two close up paintings of the “Stacking Oceans” artwork. The close up’s show more detail than the original.

I stacked up the cubes of water with the intention that they could be perceived in two ways, with six cubes or five, they also express a metaphor that somewhere in the world could be flooding and another will be in drought.

This artwork is one of my hand-stretched ones, sold with hooks ready to hang!
