This painting is of a hammer floating in shallow waters while clouds steam from it’s head. I thought I’d play with the idea that power isn’t a real thing, individuals can feel powerful and act accordingly although only when they’re surrounded with sheep-like personalities, the buoyancy of the water. Not necessarily a fact when it comes to the reality of placing a hammer in water. I’ve also thought about the idea that when you’re really patient with someone they may perceive it as being a push over and feel they’re superior, but really it’s just perspective… They’re just a floating hammer.
