Get a Grip Oil Painting

I originally had a very different idea in mind for this painting, if you watch the video you can see I began to paint a couple ideas and landed on this one. This was a lockdown challenge painting (I completed a colouring of my book, a digital art or painting) and I reckon if I weren’t painting it as part of my challenge it would have been one of those paintings that takes weeeeeks. So I named it ‘Get a Grip’ because I certainly didn’t have a grip on this one, although I’m satisfied with how it turned out. My mum see’s it as ladders to heavan, I see a blobs not being contained by the wings and dripping down into the unknown.

Oil Based, hand stretched, signed and ready to hang with a certificate of authenticity.
