This is my second last lockdown painting, at this point I'm experimenting with creating artworks from different angles. I started painting this painting with the intention of making sales in the desert forming from the ground (similar to my 'I Love My Leather Gloves' painting), then quickly changed my mind to create a church with a high roof and a never ending room filled with flowers. It reminds me of my grandma, she's super religious and often preaching, I imagine going to church would feel like this for her, a room full of flowers and daylight – hope. Oil based, sold with hooks ready to hang and a certificate of authenticity!

This is a painting very different to my others, I made it during my lockdown challenge and it became super clear I'd been repeating the same setting in each different painting so I decided that since I'm making different types of paintings I should create a very 2D style one as well. At the time I'd just started learning about illusions and this includes one where geometric shapes sit at a particular spot to create the illusion that there's another image. Here people are convinced there's a vase, yet there's no actual vase being painted. I also threw in my surrealist flare and painted the flowers different colours to their natural colour, similar to my fruit bowl painting. I needed to have a painting of a vase of flowers in my portfolio. Oil based, sold with hooks ready to hang and a certificate of authenticity!
