This is one of my super first polished off giraffe artworks, I remember the screen recording on instagram for this one was a hit, watching the spots get cut out and cleaned up. I wanted a really funky artwork of the giraffe and this artwork is probably the first where you see my current style that I settled on shining through.

Sometimes you follow advice from people who aren’t artists and have no idea what they’re advising but they’re older than you so you give it a go. I’ve learnt my lesson. The advice? “Paint it again it was so good!, Make more.” I’m not a decor artist and that’s what’s great about a painting, you don’t do it again. I took the advice and twisted it a bit however that stripped the artwork of its concept. You’ll see a few where I painted close ups. I wanted them to be a set with the original, ‘Canvas Prints’ but that doesn’t really stand up in reality. Someone buys the artwork because they want that, if they were into decor art they wouldn’t be buying my artwork. So this one and the other close up didn’t follow the main man, actually the main one hasn’t sold at the time of writing this but I wanted to try and show that there could be a whole new world in the artwork if you’d zoomed in. Kind of like those vector artwork videos where people start off with a scene then create one around t and so on then record the zoom out for the clicks. The original zoomed out artwork is about the destruction of canvas prints, both on artists careers and to the environment. Don’t buy a canvas print. This artwork is oil based, is one of my hand-stretched ones and sold with hooks ready to hang and a certificate of authenticity.

I was really proud of this artwork, it took some effort to create the pyramids out of water and I specifically took the photo of the intercom for this one. It definitely turned out a bit different to my other artworks but I enjoy it! If you want to have a go at making a version of you own I printed it in my original colouring in book. This artwork is a representation of a thought I once had on musicians, organising sounds to make music. I created the artwork to have the shelves look like a Logic file, the melting can be perceived how the viewer sees it; a puddle or a hole./n/nI wasn’t sure about the execution of this artwork as some things didn’t go to plan when painting it, however someone out there, in Malaysia loved it and snapped it up! This artwork is oil based, is one of my hand-stretched ones and sold with hooks ready to hang and a certificate of authenticity.

I wanted to create an artwork with an ocean and some fire in it, then as I brought in the photo of the land and worked with the water I decided I just want it to look a bit messy and from there made it slanted and a tad chaotic.

Following my lone tree artwork ‘Autumn Tree’ and ‘Ice Tree’, alongside my challenge to digitally create the look of gold I decided to create a gold lone tree, gold is a challenge when creating it from scratch. After creating this artwork I then went a bit further creating variations with colour spilling and being up-side down, so we ended up with a collection.

This is an artwork I created out of despise for people purchasing canvas prints. You can see a bulldozer dumping identical canvas prints into a pit with a tree influencing that and setting it a light. Canvas prints are made of plastic and MDF, they're built to be disposable and I don't consider them art. The economy pours so much money into this fast-turning-trash and I'm not convinced it's because the consumers see meaning in these “abstract” prints of splotches. I believe canvas prints contribute considerably to the yearly trash load and play a huge part in creating a tough environment for artists to thrive. This is not one of my hand stretched artworks, nor framed, although is ready to hang. Oil based.

This is an artwork I created after visiting the zoo, the animals looked bored with their lives and their lives were split up into categories; play time, eating time, mating time. That's why I split up the rhino into three sections and under water, being out of its element. This artwork is oil based, is one of my hand-stretched ones and sold with hooks ready to hang and a certificate of authenticity.

This is a painting I call "Time" because time moves so quickly, the rest should be interpreted by the viewer. This artwork is oil based, isn’t one of my hand-stretched ones and sold with hooks ready to hang and a certificate of authenticity. ready to hang and unframed.

This is a digital artwork I created from a few photos I took at Vaucluse, The Gap, then edited so that it looks like the earth is a cube, added some psychedelic colours and a ladder on fire.

Following my lone tree artwork ‘Autumn Tree’ and ‘Ice Tree’, alongside my challenge to digitally create the look of gold I decided to create a gold lone tree. I then went a bit further creating variations with colour spilling and being up-side down. From my 2019 trip to the zoo I managed to create this artwork using the turtle photo before losing the batch of photos. This was a tricky one because the turtles really blend in with the ground and the texture of the ground was tricky to seperate. In later years I spend more time fully cleaning up the turtles to use in their full capacity.

I think the concept of flat earth is really funny. I also really like the idea where people have manipulated the shape of the earth and I wanted my own, so I created one, titled it “Flat Earth” and added my funky colours that I’d learn’t how to do on my ‘Hippy Hippo’ artwork.

In 2019 I wanted to play with creating a gold look digitally which turns out to be very tricky! Later on I try and even bigger challenge of doing the same with paint. So I took a photo of myself then really wanted to make the artwork something very original, so this is where it ended up. I wanted to aim at showing a visual for thinking through artworks being made.

After seeing how my ‘Biggie Coffee River’ digital artwork turned out, where I incorporated a painting into the water of a photo. I wanted to try again with another painting, I don’t think I hit the mark with this one but it’s interesting to see how it played out.

In 2017 I travelled from Sofia to Plovdiv in Bulgaria, in the warmer seasons their sunflower farms fill the roads and it’s easy to grab a shot. This is one of them, adjusted slightly.

In 2018 I wanted a new bike photo, but I also had some sparklers on hand and had used them for a few long exposure artworks. So I decided I wanted to make my wheel sparky, popped downstairs and began waving a sparkle around as I took the long exposure shot. This is the final result, I also changed the colour of my bike.

I find this artwork quite funny. In 2017 I went to Newport beach with a fiend and saw a cockatoo eating a chip above me. So I photographed it and turned it into a cigarette then reflected it, as if you’re in That 70’s Show. This bird makes a comeback in other artworks such as ‘Party Bird’.

In 2017, on my way to West Head for some photos I decided to pull over and take a photo of the straight road. I really like these shots and you’ll see a few in my artworks such as ‘Alpaca Rd’.

In 2018 I went through a phase of using the lightning bolt stamp in Photoshop to add drama to the artworks. This is one of the first ones, until in 2025 when I managed to shoot real lightning.

This artwork is mostly photography over digital artwork. When fostering kittens in 2018 I took a photo of two playing because they looked like a heart. When kittens are really small, like humans, they also have blue eyes so I wanted to keep that part of the photo popping.

In 2019 I had a mission to go up the Sydney Tower and photograph the ground from the top. I managed to do so then added in other photos that I had of my shoe and water to show the city flooding.

This was a challenge artwork, I wanted to create a bunch of floating islands out of photos I’d taken, I think I achieved the goal for may skill level at the time. There is currently only one photo print of this out in the wild before I discontinued that material.

In 2016 I adventured to Garie Beach to hunt down the Figure Eight Pool. The actual attraction is the scenery for the entire walk now that I’ve been there and can report back to you. Right after a girl tried to stand as a bridge over the pool she fell is, promptly jumped out (winter) and I got my money shot of the pool with no one in it.

This is one of my first elephant artworks. For my 2019 birthday I wanted more photos to use in my art so mum and I went to the zoo. Unfortunately the animals all look pretty depressed, but I have the shots I have (and later lost most of them). The elephant remains and this is the first one where I cleaned up the photo and popped him in a more fun environment.

I’ve managed to accrue some Max Brenner cups over the years and I decided I wanted to use one in an artwork. In 2017 I reflected on a previous artwork I created with a forest in a cup and it must have been the trend or my algorithms at the time and I saw how other people were tackling theirs. I wanted to create another as the first wasn’t well executed to to image size.

I think this might still be on the top of the list of outrageous ideas for a digital artwork. I have a couch that I’ve had a very long time and decided it’s time that I included it in an artwork, especially because it also shows up in my painting, ‘Waiting’. I photographed it and fixed it up, I also had some kittens at the time, 2019, so I used a photo of one of them laying around and made him fly. The rest is a collection of things and places I’ve photographed and manipulation. You can also colour in this artwork in my original colouring in book!

On an adventure one day with a friend I saw a boat that looked like it needed photographing (artwork, ‘Boat Jay’) and as I walked back to the car I also decided my car needed a photo too. This is the result.

In 2019 during my freelancing I came across a brand who wanted me to create prints like this for them so they could create fabric and become a tigerlily competitor. The job didn’t go anywhere past the first few designs and I’d already started working on this. It’s made from a photo of the beach. It definitely screams decor but I wanted to have it for sale and now you know the lore behind it.

This artwork is more photograph than digital artwork, but when I took the photo from a plane in 2018 and I felt like it didn’t need much more, it was beautiful as it is. This is how it ended up.
Price range: $360.00 through $370.00
30 x 1.5cm

I’m pretty proud of this one! I guess it’s mostly photography as opposed to surreal artworks like all my other artworks but it’s a great shot on its own without needing manipulation. However if you’re a photographer you’d know you can’t just take this photo and have the lighting in the background work with the lighting inside the tunnel so I took two with different settings and merged them accordingly.
Price range: $360.00 through $2,100.00

After my ‘Optical Ocean’ artwork I wanted to keep manipulating things in the same manner, so I took a photo of my cup and decided to virtually slice it up then fill it with water by adding my ocean cubes from the previous artwork.
Price range: $360.00 through $370.00
30 x 1.5cm

This was an earlier artwork from 2017, I took a photo of my cousin in ‘Old Town’ Plovdiv, Bulgaria, where a tree grows from the stone and decided that I wanted to manipulate my cousin so she’s disintegrating. It was a style I wanted to have a go at, later on I changed the way I use digital brushes and managed to master this tactic differently.
Price range: $360.00 through $370.00

This was an earlier digital artwork, made in 2018, and I used a photo I took at Helensburg Tunnel from South Sydney. From there I decided to play with the idea of creating a flood digitally.

I went through a phase of understanding illusions, a short phase because it turns out there aren’t that many and it’s easy to figure out how to create them. I ended up in this rabbit hole after realising that people think my ‘Smudged Elephant’ artwork is a bird. So now we end up with this artwork, I created it from photos of the ocean and the mountains from the plane when travelling to Bulgaria.
Price range: $360.00 through $2,200.00

During some of my adventures to find new photos to use in digital artworks I went to The Gap, Vaucluse and Seacliff Bridge. I also had a favourite pair of heels that I decided would fit in well with this artwork so I merged the three to create what you see.

This artwork was inspired by a photo I took then manipulated in photoshop as my digital art process. I recreated the image as a painting although with a surreal twist where the tree is side-ways. I call it "Life" because it represents life and the unpredictability of it. The original digital image was also used at my uncles funeral with inspired the new take. Check out my instagram story to see prints or other paintings on the story @miss_vanessaness. Oil Based, signed, ready to hang and unframed. This website has the best price of all my products due to there being no middle man.
