I originally decided to paint a woman looking out the window with furniture floating around and as I created the artwork I decided that the room should be relatively empty and have a scene of presence at the same time which brought me to paint the chair in front of the window with a woman sitting in it as the shadow. I didn't feel like painting the corner of the room in the corner so I centred it adding to the centre focus. I did put thought into the floor although as the painting wrapped up it didn't turn out as I would have ideally made the pattern. I also chose to whip out a Magritte and paint the chair with the image of the sky on it. This artwork is one of my hand-stretched ones, always sold with hooks ready to hang and a certificate of authenticity.

This was partially a challenge artwork, I wanted to know how I’d go about executing an underwater scene in my living room. There was also a cactus I’d just bought and wanted it in an artwork. To whip out this final piece I had to really move some things around to get the right shots. This is how it turned out!

I got myself a new chair and decided I’m photographing it, building up a library of items I can use in my digital artworks. From there I decided it would be a funky idea to have the chairs stacking and on fire, so that’s how this artwork came to be.

My grandma is the most sentimental person in the world, she has a chair in her yard and it reminds her of the past, she asked me to take a photo of it so naturally I made it ‘the’ chair photo. I’m pretty proud of this photo of the chair, I’m not sure if she did anything with the photo, but I am and you can have it too.

This is a print of a photograph I took in 2018. This print comes in a few sizes and the largest is printed at 150dpi while the others are 300dpi (for those designers who want to know), rolled up and printed on top quality photo paper!
