This is a painting I made during the 2019Australian fires, inspired by the fires and the political situation along with the floods in other parts of the world I find it ironic that the Earth must be so delicately positioned in the univers to have such diverse reactions. Then that thought was followed by the need to back burn in order to protect the delicate ecosystem being threatened.
The artwork consists of water walls which are frozen at the top surrounding a controlled fire.
This artwork is oil based, not one of my hand stretched ones and will be sold with hooks, ready to hang!
