This is a painting I created with the idea in mind to make a floating fruit bowl wrapped in a white cloth. I called it Cigarette for Breakfast because it doesn’t resemble nutrients or fruit at all, the white colour cloth is emptiness like when you ask someone what they had for breakfast and they tell you a cigarette… As if it’s food.
