My first cactus artwork was a hit and people encouraged me to create more, of the same… After a while I learnt that people who aren’t artists have very bad marketing ideas, you reading this are no exception. But I gave it a go. The original artwork is a cactus with paint being poured on it, ‘Trauma’ and is pretty much just dealing with life. This is the prequel to it where the paint hasn’t landed yet. I don’t have words in my artworks so that’s what’s going on with the label. People need to interpret art, not be told what’s going on in it.

This artwork is oil based, is one of my hand-stretched ones and sold with hooks ready to hang and a certificate of authenticity.
