While creating this artwork I’d been riding for a few years, a motorbike, to me, isn’t just transport, it’s like being seven-teen and going for a bicycle ride. You have a car but this is for fun. I also had some friends who sold their bikes to exchange the money for things like holidays, which I couldn’t understand. So I aimed to paint my bike as a heart, the ugly kind of organ shaped heart and I carried on the paint pouring from my previous successful artworks. That was partially concept and something I’d wanted to do and partially mediocre advice from the people around me who aren’t artists and say “Paint another just like it!” To my paint pouring concept.

This artwork is oil based, isn’t one of my hand-stretched ones and sold with hooks ready to hang and a certificate of authenticity.
