I’ve been super pear focused lately, probably because I’ve been making more artworks in a shorter space of time and the topics of each merge together. So I made another pear! I wanted to follow up on the style of my recent ‘Spotty Pig’ as I noticed quite a few people saved that one.I almost left this artwork just as a spotty pear although right before I thought I finished I watched a Bosch documentary which caused me to think twice about leaving it simple. So I added a cage and an ear.
After finishing it, it reminded me of listening.. how there’s sound around you and sometimes you ignore the sounds and sometimes you absorb them and contemplate.
