The idea behind this shape is a pineapple growing from the ground, like a carrot, taking the shape of a Pyramid, like the ones in Egypt. I thought of the idea that Pharaohs would bury their possessions with them and then created a visual metaphor for the lack of priorities today. I noticed that the people around me at the time would rather spend their money on short term gratification like desserts (I mean buckets) and throw their money at gimmicks to fix whatever problem resulted from the unhealthy action in the first place without considering how putting the money to something less self-sabotaging could make them just as happy. Building their own pyramid of treasures, not fruit.

The artwork ended up going very quickly to a pineapple lover! I’d certainly say she lives a full life and it’s certainly fitting.
