I found it interesting how people have a different perspective of you as you, for instance, successful people could make it look easy while from their perspective they would see all the hard work. So I made a mirror reflection of a woman where her reflection shows the wrinkles and everything normal while the woman on our side is made of gold.
I haven’t yet mastered how to paint gold although I’m a firm believer that when you have an opportunity to finish a painting, it’s done and that’s a reflection of your skill level at the time. So this is my skill level on painting gold at the moment, hoping to improve. I also managed to convince myself a week before finishing this painting that I couldn’t paint people… PMS. So I finished the painting and I can paint people. This was definitely a challenge!
This artwork is one of my hand-stretched ones and always sold with hooks ready to hang!
