At the time of painting this artwork I looked at racism with a more shallow perspective and thought it’s just about excluding people who just have different features to you. Now I see the complications of racism where it’s a tribal instinct to involve or exclude people in order for some sort of self preservation, there’s also the fact that cultures who grow together do things differently that we’re used to. So, at the time when I saw it just as not liking how someone looks I decided to paint this where one person has two opposing features on their face.

This artwork is oil based, isn’t one of my hand-stretched ones and sold with hooks ready to hang and a certificate of authenticity.
