After purchasing a speaker it looked like a canvas so I popped a painting on it, I like to use pink in my music paintings because pink is the colour of a high pitched sound for me, the flamingo dances it’s way through the speaker and turns up the sound while the knob drips down some music to create a glass pear. The flamingo then reappears at the front to what I like to think of the spots as the next song.
The material is much thicker than canvas and more difficult to paint on so I currently have no plans to do that again. The priming involved some gesso (as it should!) so the sound turned out muffled so I’ve taken it off as it’s own artwork and repurposed an old frame.
Note that I’m not a professional frame maker… Sold with s certificate of authenticity and hooks ready to hang.
