This is an artwork I made during my 80 and one where I decided to channel a much older painting, ‘Surrender’ which I really like since it makes me feel like I’ve teleported somewhere else.

That idea, alongside also wanting to turn the sail from the other artwork into a tap, as if it’s making it’s way into this painting through a tap that I used in my painting ‘On tap’. I feel like I achieved the goal for this one.

This artwork is one of my hand-stretched ones, sold with hooks ready to hang and a certificate of authenticity.
