Shortly before painting this artwork I adventured to the NSW Gallery and admired the skill in the historic artworks that depict clouds, that alongside an installation that reminds me of Khazad-Dum and the dragons castle in Shrek. When I’m in a place like this, with pillars everywhere, there’s a specific atmosphere that comes along with it so I wanted to convey that with this artwork.
This artwork is one of my hand-stretched ones, sold with hooks ready to hang and a certificate of authenticity.
