This is one of my twenty-one artworks in twenty-one days which turned into eight artworks in eight hours. Recently I created my artwork ‘Coffee on the Table’ which I really like since it looks realistic with my edited photos in it. I somewhat followed the same idea but instead of a road over the mountains I just used the paint from the road (also used in older recent). The landscape was taken from a plane.

This is another one of my twenty-one artworks in twenty-one days. Similar to my ‘Elephant 2’ artwork I wanted to recreate an older artwork, ‘Bike Twist’ in a way that I would today. This is the result. While creating it I came across the challenge of making it twist, comparing with the older screen recording, and my approach this time was entirely different to the way I originally did it.

This is one of my seven artworks in seven hours and in the screen recording you’ll see I began with a long exposure photo I took of my beetle then decided to ditch the idea because I won’t make the goal and decided to use the background created for that potential artwork and took the car I used for ‘Beet Wall’ then this is the result.

In 2018 I took a photograph of my bike at Bobbin Head and manipulated it to look as it does, ‘Bike Bobbin’. I wanted to recreate the artwork but change it to have two bikes crashing in the air, perhaps use the bikes from ‘Motorcloud’ and ‘Cloudcycle’. Instead I didn’t as I decided to complete 7 artworks in 7 hours, which soon became 8 artworks in 8 hours and this was the result. A tad rushed.

When creating this artwork I decided I wanted to make some thug birds. This is them. My friend has an inside joke where she calls all cockatoo’s ‘Collin’ following a story where she had a baby the same time as some resident cockatoos. Every time I hear the name though I think of a lad. So this title felt fitting.

This is a digital artwork I decided to create while wrapping up my recent artwork, ‘Glow Car’, where I look at the pear on the road and decided to create a conceptual style artwork with three roads and a pear on each. This is the result of that idea.

During an adventure to the PIX exhibition I saw a photograph of a car, I’m not sure if the tyres were white walls or actually glowing, it’s a black and white photo I only briefly looked at but I liked the idea. So I began working on a digital artwork where the tyres would glow and that’s the only goal. This artwork ended up going through a couple transformations and it may be worth watching the making of it.

This kitten in this artwork is a photo I took of a kitten I once fostered and named ‘Trump’. Lately I’ve wanted to use photos from older artworks and fix them up so I can re-use the item in new artworks. For this one I took Trump from my artwork, ‘Trump Blanket’ and really like the concept of that artwork but it’s hard to top. Instead this is the outcome, I still wanted to create something surreal and instead of putting her in bubbles I decided to have a go at creating an hourglass.

This is an artwork I thought up while colouring in a doughnut page in my colouring in book series and decided I want to make a doughnut with loads of tiny giraffe sprinkles. From there I wanted to create an artwork where some of the main object is cut out, like a mid shot. As I created the doughnut I wanted a new doughnut since I’ve used it so much and rendered up a new one then when importing it into Photoshop from Blender I couldn’t decide what colour to make it, then I ended up wanting to make it look electric, like my ‘Hippy Hippo’ artwork. This is the final result.

This is an artwork I thought up during my 80 artworks challenge although didn’t have time to fit it within the project since I wanted the artwork to become quite detailed. I recently created an artwork, ‘Smokey Bird’, which is what sparked the idea. Since birds fly around so quick I wanted to create an artwork with heaps of birds shooting around the page. It’s not quite what I imagined but hits the target!

I have an older artwork, ’Couchmellow’ that I felt like returning to now that I cleaned up the photo of my couch for the previous artwork ‘Elephant Moving Home’. I liked how in ‘Couchmellow’ I changed the colours of each cushion. The artwork also slightly draws the burning couch from ‘Couch Tree’. Alongside inserting what came to mind when creating the artwork. I included the tiny flying cars from various previous artworks and wanted to turn the couch into a bicycle just for the sake of it.

This is one of my 80 artworks and when I began it I thought I’d quickly wrap the bird in leaves although that wasn’t quick and it didn’t look good (I recommend watching the time lapse for this one) I then changed my mind on what I wanted to create and at the time I thought the concept of turning the bird into half smoke would be too simple. After creating it I decided this artwork took a very good turn.

This is the artwork I made just before the one I released the week before this one, I chose to share them in reverse order since this ones a tad more cryptic to understand what you’re looking at, not having seen the other first. While I worked on my 80 artworks I looked around at other peoples art and saw how people used clouds as part of their objects. Something I’ve done before (‘Ice Cream Town’ as an example) but I haven’t turned the motorbike into one which means it’s time to do so! I then created the other because I thought it should be done.

I made this artwork after the one I share next however I thought it needs to be shared first since the next one will make more sense being the second one. As I worked through my 80 artworks I had a list of things I wanted to create and I couldn’t decide which version was better so I made both. This is the first motorcycle made of clouds of the both.

This idea came to mind after creating my artwork ‘Road Trip’ and decided instead of having one low lying clouds I wanted many. As the artwork unfolded it became what it is now. I really enjoy this artwork as it really shows off the kind of surrealism I want to share.

Recently before creating this artwork (one of my 80), I’d turned my giraffe into zebra print and cleaned up the beetle photos. I imagined something slightly different (less busy) when thinking I wanted to be one of those people who’d created an artwork with a zoo animal in a car. However after putting it together I found it a bit small and needed to give the two a scene. From there I decided to pull up the paint, add a fence made of bicycles the add the flying cars from another recent artwork (which hasn’t been shared yet).

This artwork is a slight continuation from last week and a mix of another artwork I created a while back which I enjoy, ‘Midnight Snack’. There’s something I haven’t been able to recreate about that artwork yet so I gave it another go with this artwork (not quite there yet). I’m really into my crepes, I think I’ve got them down. Each day at brunch I have a lovely snack with crepes admiring how the plants have grown over the past day. I have them with a coffee, ham and creamed honey and used to have a swarm of bees visit (hoping to staunch some honey). This artwork in my take on that part of my day, but the feeling of it, not the look. This artwork is one of my hand-stretched ones, sold with hooks ready to hang and a certificate of authenticity.

In the concept of this artwork I took the saying of things turning “pear shaped” literally. My intention is for the pears to express how the journey of each small progress in my career goes pear shaped so often, but each obstacle in each of those tiny goals is a learning curve that I needed. So I pelt the pears at the ladder. The painting was then followed up by a sequel, they're sold together. The sequel is the ladder being dinged around by the pears and the climb continues. This is a painting I thought of while listening to the song 'White Flag' by Dido. The main part of the painting is a sunken sail which takes the shape of a white flag not catching wind, I made it to represent a fallen relationship while the other boats sail in the clouds. Turned out to be a pretty grim painting although it doesn't seem to reflect my perception at the moment, I think it’s pretty nice. In 2019 I had a mission to go up the Sydney Tower and photograph the ground from the top. I managed to do so then added in other photos that I had of my shoe and water to show the city flooding.
