This is a digital artwork I created with the idea in mind to re-use the hoops I'd used for my previous artwork and wanted to have half pears floating on them. I originally intended to do a day-time artwork although it turned out night time and I figured I shouldn't change it. Toward the end of creating it I decided this is the digital version of a painting I'd created.

The original idea included pears although as I created the artwork I decided to ditch the idea, it didn't work. Probably a pretext to an actual Snakes and Ladders game, one day.

I don't think there's enough artworks to relate to disabled people, there's so many that don't acknowledge it so I'm adding to the collection of my wheelchair animals (amputee animals?) I played with depth in this artwork and made some last minute changes to the colours and shapes of the elephants.

I made this artwork frm a giraffe I've photographed and some other photo's I took. I wanted to create a giraffe that was misssing it's head and replaced with smoke (you can see in the recording) although my last giraffe edit was received as a bit morbid so I ditched the idea.

I made this painting with a study in mind that showed people who are more depressed tend to post more black and white images to social media, using colour as a snapshot reflection of their state of mind. So I called it ROMSOM, reflection of my state of mind, also because I love using these clouds in my digital artwroks. They remind me of candy popcorn. It's hand stretched with a certificate of authenticity and always sold with hooks.

This was quite a fun artwork, naturally, as a plant person, I bought myself a pineapple to chop the top and grow my own because I think they looks cool, like the new pineapple sits in it’s own thrown as it grows. I also photograph anything interesting I come by so I can use it in a digital artwork. Following this I managed to create many pineapple artworks and this was the first. It also follows a phase where I practiced creating artificial lasers in my digital artworks.

This painting came to mind when I was listening to Midnight Oi's “Beds are Burning” song. So I painted it, then took the bands name a little literally with this artwork and made an ocean of oil. At the time I was also in a phase of seeing how much I could reduce my carbon footprint and it’s net negative if you really focus on it. So the concept is environmental here. This artwork is oil based, is one of my hand-stretched ones and sold with hooks ready to hang and a certificate of authenticity.

Recently before painting this cactus I’d found myself a silver torch cacti and it’s beautiful. I’d painted cacti before as the cactus version of a stick figure human in different concepts. I’d also recently mastered how to visually create a laser in both paint or digitally from scratch so I wanted to combine these. The idea of cacti embodying a little personification and the lasers made me want to paint EDM, electronic dance music, which I was also a little bit into at the time. I also wanted to play with the idea of giraffe height so I created a pool in the sky and then visiting it. Every time I look up this artwork in my files I never find it. Past me titled this artwork “Couch Hole”. I hope that sheds some light on the transformation this artwork went through then eventually landed here. I remember somewhat wanting to pop my couch in the ocean, then from there that lead into making a geometric hole in the ocean, then I guess it didn’t look right and here we are. I think this one is much more coherent, considering my artworks are surreal in general.

I wanted an artwork with an umbrella floating around. I guess a Merry Poppins kind of idea. I struggle with my digital artworks at night though and this is one of those that I look back at and wonder if I hit the mark. However art is subjective! I ran a kickstarter to launch my colouring in books and gave people the option to choose which digital artwork they wanted printed and this was one woman’s choice. It’s really fascinating to me to see the artworks people choose! I guess it did hit the mark for some.

I wanted a quirky artwork for this. In 2019 I’d taken a photo of an elephant at the zoo and used it in a few artworks and for some reason elephants at the circus were on my mind. So from there I decided to create an elephant high-wire in your average landscape. The legs took some manipulating and I do enjoy how it turned out.

When starting this artwork I wanted to use my giraffe photo again, however I wanted it to be different and decided it would be cool to cut it in half and have the giraffe split through the artwork. Once I put it together it didn’t sit right and my skill level at the time decided that melting the giraffe would help. I ended up with this artwork. I’m not sure I hit the mark but I know that art is subjective and there will be someone who really connects with it.
