This painting is a painting of a body of ocean, cut like a cube producing balloons. You are the ocean and it's up to you how many balloons you want to blow, so I call it “Happiness”.. It's up to you. Oil Based, hand stretched, signed and ready to hang with a certificate of authenticity.

This is an artwork I created during the 2019 fires. Australia was burning down and the politics was only starting to heat up (compared to the unrest in the following decade). Then you’d tune into news from other parts of the wold and they’d be frozen or flooding. I found it interesting that the topic was environmental and how politics can fix it but it’s just nature going through it’s larger seasons, and it just happens to be extreme ends for different parts of the world. This artwork is oil based, isn’t one of my hand-stretched ones and sold with hooks ready to hang and a certificate of authenticity.

Sometimes you follow advice from people who aren’t artists and have no idea what they’re advising but they’re older than you so you give it a go. I’ve learnt my lesson. The advice? “Paint it again it was so good!, Make more.” I’m not a decor artist and that’s what’s great about a painting, you don’t do it again. I took the advice and twisted it a bit however that stripped the artwork of its concept. You’ll see a few where I painted close ups. I wanted them to be a set with the original, ‘Stacking Oceans’ but that doesn’t really stand up in reality. Someone buys the artwork because they want that, if they were into decor art they wouldn’t be buying my artwork. So this one and the other close up didn’t follow the main man, I aimed to show that there could be a whole new world in the artwork if you’d zoomed in. Kind of like those vector artwork videos where people start off with a scene then create one around t and so on then record the zoom out for the clicks. The original zoomed out artwork is about the destruction of canvas prints, both on artists careers and to the environment. Don’t buy a canvas print. This artwork is oil based, is one of my hand-stretched ones and sold with hooks ready to hang and a certificate of authenticity.

After creating my ‘Photoshop Moses’ artwork I wanted to create another but differently and plays with illusions. The concept behind it is the imbalance of climate. It’s interesting how one part of the world will be flooding and another will be in drought, it makes you think about that argument of asking water when people say “I’ll end up back in the ocean anyway” This artwork is oil based, isn’t one of my hand-stretched ones and sold with hooks ready to hang and a certificate of authenticity.
