I found myself a 90’s TV in the driveway of my old place! So naturally I returned with a camera and photographed my heart out. From there I just wanted to use the image and I’m not sure about the execution but hit does make a comeback in other artworks such as ‘Party Bird”.

So this one and the other close up didn’t follow the main man, actually the main one hasn’t sold at the time of writing this but I wanted to try and show that there could be a whole new world in the artwork if you’d zoomed in. Kind of like those vector artwork videos where people start off with a scene then create one around t and so on then record the zoom out for the clicks. The original zoomed out artwork is about the destruction of canvas prints, both on artists careers and to the environment. Don’t buy a canvas print. I was really proud of this artwork, it took some effort to create the pyramids out of water and I specifically took the photo of the intercom for this one. It definitely turned out a bit different to my other artworks but I enjoy it! If you want to have a go at making a version of you own I printed it in my original colouring in book. This is such a fun artwork and I always reflect on it thinking I really hit the mark with this one. If you want to colour it in, check out my original colouring in book to have a go yourself! The idea was executed as you see it, I wanted to make clouds on the menu so I photographed my tableware and practiced my fake clouds and lasers on it.

This artwork is a representation of a thought I once had on musicians, organising sounds to make music. I’m a big fan of those middle of the road shots! I’ve used my photo from the Royal National Park before and decided to use it again in this artwork. I then felt like adding water that I photographed from Vaucluse to create this.

This is an artwork I created out of despise for people purchasing canvas prints. You can see a bulldozer dumping identical canvas prints into a pit with a tree influencing that and setting it a light. Canvas prints are made of plastic and MDF, they're built to be disposable and I don't consider them art. The economy pours so much money into this fast-turning-trash and I'm not convinced it's because the consumers see meaning in these “abstract” prints of splotches. I believe canvas prints contribute considerably to the yearly trash load and play a huge part in creating a tough environment for artists to thrive. This is not one of my hand stretched artworks, nor framed, although is ready to hang. Oil based.

My first cactus artwork was a hit and people encouraged me to create more, of the same… After a while I learnt that people who aren’t artists have very bad marketing ideas, you reading this are no exception. But I gave it a go as well as another artwork, ‘Fate’ which turned out quite cute. This one is an alternate universe where the cactus has the ability to dodge the event that was fated to happen, kind of similar to when people do everything to to and avoid an event that makes them learn something the hard way. This was another challenge artwork to see how well I could execute painting a digital artwork of mine. I think I did alright but it’s still a challenge in general because we’re comparing pixels vs paint. I titled it ‘Carbon Footprint’ because sometimes to be seen as an artist you need to play into the current social agenda, we are always asked to tick boxes what social issue that is currently popular we believe in. Once you do then your artwork is deemed fit to be shared in specific spaces where it has higher visibility. It’s a sad side of being an artist, it encourages people to become sell-outs. At the time I wanted my artworks in competitions, not realising yet it’s who you know. So I had to title it something that gave meaning to environmental issues. This is a surreal painting I started in 2018 and left it for a year then decided to finish it in 2019. It's a bird pulling up or scattering (whichever way you decide to view it) debris on the mountain. The lighting in this painting is reflective of the orange sky and the buildings are shaded with blues and oranges. This is based off of a photo I took from mums friends place in Sofia which over looks the mountain. Before this artwork I created one underneath it, then rage quit and painted this one. My previous artwork was a woman sailing away from an island and I called it ‘Leaving’ because I realised I’d grown differently to my friends and didn’t fit in anymore. From my 2019 trip to the zoo I managed to create this artwork using the turtle photo before losing the batch of photos. This was a tricky one because the turtles really blend in with the ground and the texture of the ground was tricky to seperate. In later years I spend more time fully cleaning up the turtles to use in their full capacity.

Living in Sydney where the government builds extravagant train stations that take you ten minutes of walking to reach the platform from the entry I found it really interesting how in Europe it’s two steps away. You don’t need to add ten minutes to your trip to enter the train station. I also like front on shots of roads so I decided since the tracks are so easily accessible I’ll take a photo and this is the result. In a much later artwork, around 2024, I reuse the tracks and colour them for other digital artworks.

In 2018 I wanted a new bike photo, but I also had some sparklers on hand and had used them for a few long exposure artworks. So I decided I wanted to make my wheel sparky, popped downstairs and began waving a sparkle around as I took the long exposure shot. This is the final result, I also changed the colour of my bike.
