Fruit Juice

$600.00

48.5 x 2cm
x 48.5cm

10h 40m

I am a fan of this one! This artwork stands out to me when I think back at past favourites. It took a while to sell but I’m not surprised it did. I had a couple challenges for this artwork, the first being painting a woman. I can paint portraits but under some conditions it’s trickier. It also takes a few paintings to get it right as humans are really perceptive to bad imitations. First I wanted to just include hair and get that right but in my style, then the hand and a cup. From there I also wanted to create a playful artwork where we bypass the processes from fruit to juice and just have the tree on tap. So here you go, this is the result. This artwork is oil based, is one of my hand-stretched ones and sold with hooks ready to hang and a certificate of authenticity.

Piano Concerto

Price range: $360.00 through $2,100.00

30 x 1.5cm
x 30cm

1h 1m

For a while I’ve been trying to recreate a variant of my ‘Bike Drop’ artwork, this is my latest attempt this time with a piano and different smoke style.

Hiatus

$600.00

49.5 x 1.7cm
x 40cm

6h 45m

I made this painting reminiscent of time when I disappear in terms of the internet. When I was younger I like to disable my personal social media accounts over the summers, forcing people to actually interact with me like they would in the early 2000's, via mobile. When they would, the time was always more respected. I liked that no one would know what I'm up to unless they see me and ask, somewhat mysterious or a surprise. So, I painted the cactus (my cactuses represent human) in all the colours, because my hiatuses are always the most fun, also because when someone posts more colourful posts it reflects their state of mind. You don't know what's making this cactus rainbow, but you can see it is. Hand stretched, has a certificate of authenticity and sold with hooks ready to hang!

Messy Bicycle

Price range: $360.00 through $2,100.00

30 x 1.5cm
x 30cm

8h 20m

This is a digital artwork I decided to create when I looked at another bicycle artwork and wanted to stretch the idea of how well it can balance with an excessive amount of wheels.

Blasphemy of Decor Art

$600.00

39.5 x 3cm
x 50cm

14h 55m

I decided to paint my feelings on décor art. The walls are cactus spikes, like some of my best paintings, at the bottom I painted a man hanging a frame (the décor art.......) as if he's framing the wall and at the top I painted a nod to renaissance art where you can see roof arches and biblical characters in them. Jesus is on the right, dead and holding up two fingers as his coat melts and flies away in the form of little birds. On the right you can see a man ready to jump the wall (for a fihgt), being held back by another and a woman watching over, hiding. Oil based, sold with hooks ready to hang and a certificate of authenticity!

Blue Cheese Sandwich

Price range: $360.00 through $2,200.00

30 x 1.5cm
x 30cm

3h 15m

This is a digital artwork I created originally with another idea in mind however as I created it I ended up with holes in the giraffe which then changed my mind to then create a cheese sandwich reminiscent artwork.

Watching Talent

$600.00

50 x 2.5cm
x 50cm

8h 31m

This is an artwork I decided to paint when noticing how much I appreciate watching 80’s rock music videos, then watch the talented people become so successful so young. So this is how I feel when seeing them, like a skeleton still waiting on something I do to create the same success. I painted the moon on the skeletons side stuck in a bubble, similar to a chain of thoughts from my digital artworks where I began with a cross walking sign which turned into feet in a bubble. The carpet turns into blood and the (for anyone outside my train of thought) the rectangular prisms with waves on them is a fence separating the two worlds.. This artwork is one of my hand-stretched ones, sold with hooks ready to hang and a certificate of authenticity.

The Doughnut Jar

Price range: $360.00 through $2,100.00

30 x 1.5cm
x 30cm

2h 39m

As I washed up some dishes I came up with an idea if instead of mayo being in my mayo jar, it were crammed with doughnuts. So I turned it into a digital piece.

Compartmentalizing

$600.00

46 x 2.5cm
x 46cm

20h 55m

This is an artwork I decided to paint after a break up, I don’t do those often so it definitely came as a refresher. I found it interesting insight, especially for people who get into relationships often… How are they keeping their emotions in check and willingly diving straight back into a relationship? I really worked on making sure to keep the appropriate emotion for whatever situation.

In the painting I originally knew I wanted to paint a set of cubes, compartments, and definitely including a woman letting the water pour over while the one in the box below is bothered by her arm flopping down and holding a lighter to it. Instead I changed it to have no props in most of the boxes (check out the time-lapse and artventure videos to see the progress of this). They’re all in their boxes, however the nature of some emotions naturally intervenes with whatever their neighbours up to. Since I began my 80 artworks project shortly after starting this, I included it and the detail in this artwork definitely made the project more difficult! The close up is of the best face… This artwork is one of my hand-stretched ones, sold with hooks ready to hang and a certificate of authenticity.

Stacked Toppings

Price range: $360.00 through $2,100.00

30 x 1.5cm
x 30cm

2h 59m

This is a digital artwork I cdecided to created based on the collection I’ve created of vibrant possessions, I like to make them look candy-like and wanted to continue my theme after ‘Chocolate Ice-car’ where the curves of the car act like ice-cream curves. This time I look at them like sprinkles.

Infamy's Profit Margin

$600.00

45 x 1.7cm
x 60cm

13h 18m

This artwork is a thought chain reaction when watching the ‘Estranged’ Guns N’ Roses music video. I noticed Axl Rose is wearing a Manson top, then I looked at the timeline of Manson’s peak infamy, the music video date and so on. Manson also had an interest in music and on ‘The Spaghetti Incident’ GN’R made a cover. They copped criticism for this revolving around the topics of how could Axl Rose wear the Manson top, then on top of that do a cover, the critics believed it’s making Mansons crimes look like an inviting thing to do, if very talented rock stars then wear your face. I don’t really see it that way, the Manson face logo is aesthetically pleasing and as someone who’s been a designer in the past, it’s clear that Axl Rose didn’t commission the top, it already existed. The song also already existed and GN’R is known to do covers in general. Then I continued that train of thought, since the design already existed then someone was already profiting off Manson’s crimes… without the criticism. I continued to think and came to the conclusion that the moment a crime is committed, someone who isn’t the criminal begins to profit, starting with the government agent that responds to the crime, then the next of kin if there’s any assets, then the journalists that choose to report on it, then the news outlets, the channels that news outlets pay to have advertising on, the assistant that gets some CEO’s coffee and all the way down to the people dabbling in LawTube. When you dive this far into the rabbit hole, how does it make sense to vilify a rock band? Everyones guilty. The artwork shows Manson’s logo made of spaghetti, referencing ‘The Spaghetti Incident’, and hands eating from it… since everyones taking a bite. When the artwork sells, I’ll grab my slice of the spaghetti pie and add to the list of horrible people profiting off Manson’s crimes. This artwork was one of my 80 artworks project and a little rushed. This artwork is one of my hand-stretched ones, sold with hooks ready to hang and a certificate of authenticity.

Piano

Price range: $360.00 through $2,100.00

30 x 1.5cm
x 30cm

6h 30m

This is a digital artwork I created now seeing quite clearly why my first piano digital piece didn’t work out the way I imagined. This time paying more attention to cleaning up the photo before continuing. I continued the colourful theme that I like to see as super 80’s music video.

Commission

$600.00

60 x 3cm
x 34.5cm

6h 32m

I hate commissions. I feel like a puppet when people ask for them, they always want something I’ve already created and usually available but they want to tweak it. I made one for a woman who promised she’d let me create an artwork, then didn’t, she turned it into a design and didn’t understand that paint doesn’t work like photoshop. I’m really disappointed in the outcome due to her changes. I should have left the artwork and told her to take it or leave it. That’s my perspective. Working off that, this artwork is the representation of a commission. I painted ‘The Nightmare’ by Henry Fuseli, on on side and ‘Self-Portrait in a Straw Hat’ by Elisabeth Vigee Le Brun, framed next to a pair of scissors. The portrait artwork references how the person requesting the commission only wants to show off that a particular artist created it, it’s cut from the canvas of ‘The Nightmare’ because they’re picking and choosing what parts from the masterpiece they want to keep and then making changes. This is why I believe a commission isn’t art and I won’t be a puppet of talent for you. You are not an artist, if you are, do it yourself. Below I painted red dripping from the scissors which comes from the red cloth of ‘The Nightmare’ then the hand of the artist barely hanging on to a thread from the Self-Portrait…’. This artwork is one of my hand-stretched ones, sold with hooks ready to hang and a certificate of authenticity.

Bice-cream

Price range: $360.00 through $2,100.00

30 x 1.5cm
x 30cm

3h 58m

This is a digital artwork I decided to create after my ‘Ice-car’ digital piece now realising that I haven’t been applying the same skills to the motorcycle artworks. This time I comprehensively cut out each piece and coloured it in liking to an ice-cream, like to car artwork.

The Hallucination

$600.00

40 x 1.7cm
x 30cm

18h 3m

One day I was colouring in my colouring in book and felt an ant crawling on my hand, I then looked again and it was gone. You could say it jumped off or something, but I went down a thought trail and wondered if the ant was ever there in the first place? I had just read a book, ‘Genius, The Natural History of Creativity’ by H. J. Eysenck which explains that studies show more creative people tend to sit closer on the scale to psychosis. So wondering whether I’m immune to this trend was on my mind, if I am, am I not even that creative? Is the creativity a hallucination too? I continued the thought alongside this fresh new insight on psychology, it’s possible I imagined the ant… It’s possible I’m imagining everything around me. You could be insane and never know it. I shared the thought with a friend, she added we might not even be friends and either of us could be sitting there alone talking to ourselves. Then you add the reality that reality is just warped to your perspective and what you engage with. So if nothing’s real, then everything’s real and there’s no such thing as anything. From there I decided to paint the ants. I painted my hand but they’ve opened up a rabbit hole for me so I painted holes in the hands where birds fly in and out, like the birds in my artworks. I decided nothing’s real so the table turns into an ocean and some boats seem to be on struggle street knocked over. Then you’ll see that turns into a wave of water and travels into the distance. I tried making the room warp at the edges and the clouds sit as a pendant inside. The birds on the window are a reference to my digital artwork ‘Cockatoo’s at My Window’ This artwork is one of my hand-stretched ones, sold with hooks ready to hang and a certificate of authenticity.

Giraffes Channelling Spencer

Price range: $360.00 through $2,200.00

30 x 1.5cm
x 30cm

0h 58m

This is a digital artwork I’d thought about making for a while. When I cut out the giraffes spots a few years back for another artwork I found the giraffe looked naked, like a human. I return to this giraffe for other artworks and when I change the spots into geometric looking spots I think the same. This artwork came to be while making another and just decided to split the file into two and pivot each artwork from that point. I ended up createing a crowd of naked giraffes as a nod to Spencer Tunick. I also worked on teach giraffe looking lik an individual.

Running Wild with Still Life

$600.00

50 x 1.7cm
x 40cm

19h 39m

I find still life an interesting topic of art, it’s mostly hit or miss and I’m yet to find one in-between. A while back I painted a few satire artworks on still life and vases (‘Vases for Decor Purposes’ or ‘Fruit Bowl’, I think it’s fun to play with the genre so I began this artwork ready to paint some very detailed still life and then ended up wanting to add movement with a parade of horses running through, they swim out of the still life and dive back into it. For some of the artwork I wanted to focus on depth and on other days I wanted to make the shadows not make sense. So this is the result of this still life artwork. I hope it’s a hit for you. This artwork is one of my hand-stretched ones, sold with hooks ready to hang and a certificate of authenticity.

Places to Be

Price range: $360.00 through $2,100.00

30 x 1.5cm
x 30cm

1h 13m

This is digital artwork I decided to create based on a road from one of my older artworks although include newer elements. As I created it I wanted to create a very playful journey as if the cars blend in with the candy and vice versa.

Where are the Babies?

$600.00

50 x 1.7cm
x 40cm

30h 43m

I think history will look back on COVID the way it looks back on the Holocaust, with a union on governments as opposed to Hitler running the show (and remember, there was propaganda from the time too). I wasn’t against the vaccines but I was hesitant and definitely put it off with the sole reason being that it couldn’t possibly have been tested on childbearing aged women and the offspring. The Zika virus is what came to mind. However when I specifically asked how it could affect reproduction I was told it’s safe. Later on I watched ‘Died Suddenly’ the documentary on the actual clots humans are getting and in it showed that Australian birth rates plummeted shortly after we were campaigned to get the shots. I then decided to look it up myself and it was true, it’s now late 2023 and ABS website still hadn’t declared still births and the birth rates dropped. The website specifically said they’re restructuring how to present the data, and if you know stats then you know that stats are the easiest way to factually present false data. I felt personally betrayed on this one. So I decided to make a painting on something I don’t think we’ll really noticed until the statistic dip reaches an age where they were to begin interacting with society. In my artworks I use cacti to represent people so the trend continues here, however I chose blue because I wanted to make them like water, but also a night before a friend of mine died I had a dream that he went around saying bye to everyone and he had this incredibly bright blue tie on. So that’s where the death blue comes from. Half way through painting I decided it’s better to blind fold the baby. This ones for the babies that didn’t make it. This artwork is one of my hand-stretched ones, sold with hooks ready to hang and a certificate of authenticity.

Zouflage

Price range: $360.00 through $2,200.00

30 x 1.5cm
x 30cm

1h 35m

This is a digital artwork I created based on two other previous artworks. The mini series began with creating a bird covered in the background pattern, which then evolved into and elephant and the bird. Then I had one more animal I can use, a giraffe. Only this time reshuffling the arrangement.

Corporate 2

$600.00

50 x 1.7cm
x 40cm

11h 6m

This artwork follows one I created in 2019, ‘Corporate’. I really like it, even the version I can colour in in my colouring in books. The artwork also follows on from my other artwork, ‘Trauma’ where the universe just dumps paint on you and you need to grow through it. When I worked in corporate I hated it, I was rapidly wasting my life being a puppet for people I swear are incredibly miserable. Selling my soul… Quite often people who work nine to five tell me about what’s really grinding their gears at the time. Work’s always the focus of their attention and never positive, then you hear about how team mates throw each other ‘under the bus’. It’s a total mess. I originally named the artwork “Corporate Mess” painting a continuation of the previous artwork, just zoomed out, hen decided to name it “2”. This artwork is one of my hand-stretched ones, sold with hooks ready to hang and a certificate of authenticity.

Peacocking Pants and My Giraffe

Price range: $360.00 through $2,200.00

30 x 1.5cm
x 30cm

0h 0m

This is a digital artwork I decided to create based on my new pants at the time. I have some new peacocking pants and now my giraffe matches. I also popped in a thinking cloud intentionally.

Everything Melts

$600.00

51 x 1.5cm
x 40.5cm

13h 4m

A million years ago in science class it stuck with me that the teacher emphasised how everything melts with time. He specified that even glass melts, as the bottom will be wider than the top a hundred years from now. Super interesting fact! Makes me think of it every time I come across a video where someone hunts down fossils inside rocks, the imprint of the living thing is interesting as I imagine the process of the living thing became stone. So I began this artwork wanting to paint the ground, the dirt, blue to resemble water, and instead it just began to resemble water. Then I included rain the way I like to paint rain, as sheets of clear blue, and a melting/ evaporating moon. If you check out the time lapse or opinionated video of the making you’ll see that I added other items then decided less is more for this artwork. This artwork is one of my hand-stretched ones, sold with hooks ready to hang and a certificate of authenticity.

Chasing Prawn Crackers

Price range: $360.00 through $2,200.00

30 x 1.5cm
x 30cm

3h 2m

This is a digital artwork I created after an idea popped into mind where a moon was being carried through a hoop that I use in my digital artworks. I wasn't able to entirely capture what I'd been imagining so this is a tangent from that. The hoops in this artwork remind me of prawn crackers and that's how I titled it.

Abilene Paradox

$600.00

60.5 x 1.5cm
x 45.5cm

35h 20m

Every now and then I learn about a new phenomenon named “x” paradox. This time It was the Abilene paradox which is very fitting for western culture in recent years. There are plenty of rules being made up and no one thinks they’re reasonable. For example, Australia is using AI to enforce seatbelt fines, to achieve a road toll of zero. However the AI doesn’t work and the road toll is increasing since these fresh forms of distributing fines, so it doesn’t work. However anyone could predict that more surveillance would make drivers poorer drivers. So the Abilene Paradox is when there’s a group who needs to make a decision, eat the apple or the orange for example, and the majority think that everyone else wants the apple so they vote apple but in reality they want the orange and didn’t voice it in an attempt to stick with the group and be accepted. To visualise this I first thought up painting some still life where one half is floating and a different colour, or geometry, like that Simpsons episode where Homer enters a 3D space in the wall and have triangles flying through the air. Instead I glanced over at my colouring in book 2023 edition cover and decided to also include another challenge where I try to paint giraffes similar to my digital artworks. It’s always a challenge and I think I completed it to a better standard this time. So this is the result, the group of giraffes are all on a sick one mixed up in their decisions and the bodies are still grounded, hollow. This artwork is one of my hand-stretched ones, sold with hooks ready to hang and a certificate of authenticity.

Sweet Tooth

Price range: $360.00 through $2,100.00

30 x 1.5cm
x 30cm

1h 50m

This is a digital artwork I decided to create without worrying about whether it were too outrageous for people to actually own, just a super sweet artwork. I created the idea based on my 'Beet Pop' artwork with zoo animals instead. I included coloured glass falling from the sky to add to the sweetness and a slightly more vibrant version of my pineapple hot air balloon from older digital artworks.

Priorities

$600.00

47 x 0cm
x 48cm

9h 30m

The idea behind this shape is a pineapple growing from the ground, like a carrot, taking the shape of a Pyramid, like the ones in Egypt. I thought of the idea that Pharaohs would bury their possessions with them and then created a visual metaphor for the lack of priorities today. I noticed that the people around me at the time would rather spend their money on short term gratification like desserts (I mean buckets) and throw their money at gimmicks to fix whatever problem resulted from the unhealthy action in the first place without considering how putting the money to something less self-sabotaging could make them just as happy. Building their own pyramid of treasures, not fruit. The artwork ended up going very quickly to a pineapple lover! I’d certainly say she lives a full life and it’s certainly fitting. This artwork is oil based, is one of my hand-stretched ones and sold with hooks ready to hang and a certificate of authenticity.

Cockatoo's Hanging Around

Price range: $360.00 through $2,100.00

30 x 1.5cm
x 30cm

2h 57m

I decided to create this digital artwork to communicate a more surreal and artistic representation of cockatoos, somewhat referencing the repetition from Magritte's Golconda but also reminds me of a level on Yoshi's Island. I've also started sitting moon balloons on clouds in a yellow shade, like eggs.

Priorities 2

$600.00

41 x 1.5cm
x 30.5cm

13h 3m

This painting is a sequel to my painting 'Priorities' which is a pineapple pyramid (sold). The original idea came from the Pharaohs pyramids crossed with witnessing how people around me would spend money on unhealthy items for instant gratification then sulk about the repercussions.. rinse and repeat. So instead of making a painting of a pyramid symbolising the possessions and status I painted a cubist fruit to represent investing in your heath as opposed to things that don't actually contribute to your life in a positive way. In this painting I painted strawberry print for the first time and also included flamingos with peacock tails (the ultimate show-off bird), The strawberries leaves become wings or vice versa and this painting is one where I experimented with depth by blurring the background. This is one of my hand-stretched ones, has a certificate of authenticity and always sold with hooks ready to hang!

Chocolate Ice-car

Price range: $360.00 through $2,100.00

30 x 1.5cm
x 30cm

5h 6m

This is a digital artwork I decided to create from a particular photo I've taken (or a few) of a beetle and had the idea to use it's curves to represent an ice-cream.

Meek

$590.00

50.5 x 3cm
x 38cm

3h 50m

This painting is the shape of a woman reflecting the surroundings and floating in a landscape. I chose to call this painting “Meek” because I often find myself meeting women without any passion or even hobbies, living their lives reflecting their surroundings doing what others expect of them... coasting by. I find it astounding that the majority's only “goal” is to get married, nothing more. Something you can only really bring back to the nature vs nurture debate and gender role. As I grew older though I understand the importance of gender roles but it’s interesting when they take over from the other parts of life. This artwork is oil based, is one of my hand-stretched ones and sold with hooks ready to hang and a certificate of authenticity.

Elouflage

Price range: $360.00 through $2,200.00

30 x 1.5cm
x 30cm

1h 45m

This is a digital artwork carried on from my 'Birdoflauge' digital artwork. I plan to continue wth a giraffe in the next one.

On Tap 2

$590.00

30 x 3cm
x 25cm

3h 42m

This painting is a continuation from last weeks painting, I really enjoyed looking at the statue in that painting and decided to re-create the concept only with statues. This artwork is hand-stretched, hooks will be attached on sale and sold with a certificate of authenticity.

Trench

Price range: $360.00 through $2,100.00

30 x 1.5cm
x 30cm

2h 40m

I painted a Dali appropriation a while ago on his painting 'Suez' which I found really funny (I don't look at his artworks anymore though, people compare my art to his and would like to not be influenced by them). That appropriation hangs in my living room and decided to create a digital artwork based on the shape of the ground. I decided to include the pears from past artworks as I wanted them to float between the wall water as if they're portals.

ROMSOM

$575.00

50 x 1.7cm
x 37.5cm

3h 30m

I made this painting with a study in mind that showed people who are more depressed tend to post more black and white images to social media, using colour as a snapshot reflection of their state of mind. So I called it ROMSOM, reflection of my state of mind, also because I love using these clouds in my digital artwroks. They remind me of candy popcorn. It's hand stretched with a certificate of authenticity and always sold with hooks.

Gold Pops

Price range: $360.00 through $2,100.00

30 x 1.5cm
x 30cm

1h 55m

This is a digital artwork I created with the idea to recreate my giant lollipops with a gold effect this time then decided they'll eat the clouds around them.

Oblivion

$550.00

76 x 2cm
x 38.5cm

5h 50m

This painting came to mind when I was listening to Midnight Oi's “Beds are Burning” song. So I painted it, then took the bands name a little literally with this artwork and made an ocean of oil. At the time I was also in a phase of seeing how much I could reduce my carbon footprint and it’s net negative if you really focus on it. So the concept is environmental here. This artwork is oil based, is one of my hand-stretched ones and sold with hooks ready to hang and a certificate of authenticity.

Birdcycle

Price range: $360.00 through $2,100.00

30 x 1.5cm
x 30cm

1h 56m

This is an artwork that came to mind when working on the previous one where I used a photo of my bicycle, only this time I felt like recreating the 'Spinraffe' artwork with cockatoos. I chose to keep the birds feathers simple as their photos have a lot going on in them anyway. I feel like this captures the general personality of cockatoos.

Traveller

$550.00

52 x 3cm
x 38cm

6h 30m

I created this painting based on a digital artwork I created a few weeks prior which was incredibly well received. Knowing that from the past when I paint a digital artwork it doesn’t quite measure up, so this time I painted a different angle and with a new style using harsher gradients which I think made it unique. I call it “Traveller” because when I first looked at it after I'd painted the people in I saw a journey, like one where you travel over seas and other countries look, feel and smell as foreign as a pineapple blowing up to a hot air balloon. Floating on a crossing as if the visit is a dream. Whenever I explain how Bulgaria is to Australians I don't think they ever fully understand how different it is unless they experience going there. This artwork is oil based, is one of my hand-stretched ones and sold with hooks ready to hang and a certificate of authenticity.

Bicycle Feather Wheel

Price range: $360.00 through $2,100.00

30 x 1.5cm
x 30cm

3h 35m

This is a digital artwork I originally intended to create a bicycle with car parts, this didn't work out and this is how it ended up.

Spotty Pig

$550.00

51 x 1.5cm
x 41cm

6h 42m

Lately my digital artworks have been receiving a bit more attention then my paintings, although fair enough though I've been making some solid ones while experimenting on techniques with my paintings. So I thought I'd channel into the style I create my digital artworks in. I thought turning animals spotty and surreal was easier in digital form. It definitely takes less time, although this reminded me of a statement my brother made something along the lines of being able to do way more with paintings than digital artworks, because all you need is paint. I find that particularly true with this painting as I could work on the fur with much more detail than I could in Photoshop, I also dont have any photo's of pigs in this pose... I also started painting the pig a day and a half before finishing the painting so I wonder how it would turn out if I gave myself more time. Overall, when I watch cooking shows and how they transform the animal products into something entirely unrecognisable and beautiful makes wonder what the other animals of that species would think if they were watching it, this painting reminds me of that. It also reminds me of a very well glazed cake. Oil based, sold with hooks ready to hang and a certificate of authenticity!

Snakes, Birds and Clouds

Price range: $360.00 through $2,100.00

30 x 1.5cm
x 30cm

2h 44m

This is a digital artwork I created using elements from older pieces I'd already refined. I wanted to include the snakes in this one and originally thought they'd be balloons, that didn't end up happening here.

Flock Party

$550.00

46 x 3cm
x 30.5cm

I originally imagined this painting without spots and having the birds on a rope carrying off into the distance, out of vision, instead I decided that it would be better painted with the birds on many angles. When I see a flock of birds they always seem like they're having a party, from human standards... when people get together in packs and mingle/ eat it's usually a party so I painted the birds as I see them, festive af. I began painting feet on them and decided against it last minute, as a surrealist the birds don't need to have feet so I made the feet ropes to balloons. This is hand stretched and will be sold with hooks ready to hang!

Catching Moons

Price range: $360.00 through $2,100.00

30 x 1.5cm
x 30cm

6h 10m

This is a digital artwork I created with the intention to create something different to my other recent artworks since I feel like I've been creating pieces with one focal point. The idea of having moons fishing into a room was the idea the entire time.

Comfort in Prejudice

$550.00

40 x 3cm
x 50cm

7h 56m

This is a painting I started painting with an idea sparked from a painting I recently created, ‘Flock Party’, while painting this one I decided that the spots on the bird will be hidden by squares on the bag it's stuck in. I originally had the idea to paint a somewhat sequel to 'Corporate' with a plain bag and then decided to slightly pivot. I often keep my opinions to myself (during the moment) when I notice someones humouring me or so blinded by prejudice and told I can't do something, so I painted the bird as pink spots and the viewer, not you the viewer, but the viewer within the painting decides that the pink spots don't align with their prejudice and they decide to see yellow squares. So this bird is trapped in a bag of yellow squares. I think that people use prejudice as a form of comfort, despite hindering others. Your pink spots don't align with their narrative so now you have to get out of the bag before continuing your flight. This artwork is hand-stretched, hooks will be attached on sale and sold with a certificate of authenticity.

30 x 1.5cm

This is a digital artwork I created while aiming to capture the same atmosphere I created in a much older artwork, 'Bike Drop'. This one has a twist that I've come to create using candy.

Vases for Decor Purposes

$550.00

46 x 3cm
x 30cm

A while back I painted an illusion so the viewer sees a vase instead of an actual vase, the artwork was purely curiosity and learning about illusions. The artwork was then later featured in a category “Vases” and they portrayed it as a décor piece. I'm against art for décor purposes so being promoted as decor bothers me. Fast forward I'd been looking at another vase painting although didn't realise I were looking at vases and thought they were oranges as vases, I decided to take that misunderstanding and create an artwork out of it. Here's my vases for décor purposes, although since I have the motivation of my illusion painting behind this then it isn't décor anymore, it's a statement. This artwork is hand-stretched, hooks will be attached on sale and sold with a certificate of authenticity.

Shrollerblade

Price range: $360.00 through $2,100.00

30 x 1.5cm
x 30cm

3h 36m

This is a digital artwork I created from photos I've taken and elements from previous artworks. I decided to create a rollerblade from my bicycle my shoes and the clouds and moons create sunny-side-up eggs. I like to see it as the shoe's staunching the moons and whipped up my own Monstera leaves.

That Time I Ate French

$550.00

45 x 3cm
x 30cm

This is a painting of my interpretation of my experience eating out at French, specifically the desert, a pear, swimming in red sauce. If you watch the time-lapse you'll see I went through a phase with this painting to create visible texture and cow-hide print. I decided to steer away from that since they didn't reflect the pear I ate. I painted the stalk as a tap dropping raspberries to fall into the sauce since it all flowed so well in terms of flavour. However I then painted the tiny pears dripping down a leaf which can also be interpreted upside-down and painted aspects of the painting taped to the wall behind yet not having the shadows match. I chose to throw in these confusing representations as I felt heaps uneasy when ordering the food all night in general. It seemed as if they were saying “yes” to my dietary requirements but not going to follow through, so I felt uneasy the entire meal wondering if I'd been poisoned. I included the tape because from the chefs point of view it probably felt like a Frankenstein version of the original meal. This artwork is one of my hand-stretched ones, sold with hooks ready to hang and a certificate of authenticity.

No Fruit Bowl

Price range: $360.00 through $2,200.00

30 x 1.5cm

I'm definitely a fan of throwing shade at décor and mass produced (that mimics a hand crafted artwork) art, décor art has made it incredibly difficult for artists to thrive in a modern society. So when I make an artwork that's décor, I'm actually mocking it and therefore not décor anymore. So here's my décor artwork of a fruit bowl.
