On Tap

$500.00

54.5 x 3cm
x 30cm

This year I'm more against consumerism than usual, my new years resolution is to save as many items from council cleanup as bags of rubbish I throw out. Since then I've realised that most of my trash is actually re-usable in some form (compost, local scrap metal, recycling centre). Which then translated to preferring second hand items and watching how people shop as a hobby. I painted the taps to represent the unlimited amount of items someone can buy and decided to create the first tap a human statue tap but painted the man upset and bombarded by the other taps. The buyer is the product. This artwork is hand-stretched, hooks will be attached on sale and sold with a certificate of authenticity.

The Journey

I really enjoy Hieronymus Bosch’s artworks, specifically how they his artworks encompass busy themes where Bosch packs in plenty of characters and ‘furniture’. A while back I noticed my artworks at the time had a centrepiece and that’s how I conveyed my idea. I’ve been working on creating busier visuals where the viewer will be drawn into the artwork thinking about each section and wonder away with that thought, creating a different experience. This artwork isn’t as busy as I originally aimed however when I reached this point I decided this is how it needs to be. On the left side I added more characters than the right as I want people to read the artwork like a book, left to right. I ended up naming it ‘The Journey’ because when I reached the end of the artwork whenever I looked at it I felt like it’s a journey, like your life journey. Nothing ever seems to go as planned and when you look back at it you end up with a bunch of mismatched and unexpected events that feel like home because it’s yours and you lived that. This is part one. This artwork is one of my hand-stretched ones, sold with hooks ready to hang and a certificate of authenticity.

Golden Bicycle Doughnuts

Price range: $360.00 through $2,100.00

30 x 1.5cm
x 30cm

0h 0m

This is a digital artwork I tried to tackle a couple weeks earlier although entirely ditched my plan and created another bicycle artwork (which turned out pretty nice!). I thought before I take it off my to-do list that I should try again, this is almost what I'd aimed to create except my imagination only included the top bicycle from the side view. I included the top view because I couldn't decide which image to use.

The Other Side

$500.00

91.5 x 3cm

The Journey’ is the prequel to this artwork (and they’re sold separately, maybe to reunite one day). The two artworks fit together like puzzle pieces when one is rotated 180º and placed above the other, see the timelapse video to see them together. The previous artwork shows a journey and depicted at night time, this one shows the other side of the journey, not necessarily after death but another side. I really enjoy Hieronymus Bosch’s artworks and having many events going on in his artworks and I aim to incorporate that in my artworks, these two being the target of that aim. In this artwork I aimed to have two marches heading over to the first painting and included the window far in the background as well as the bird porcelain print on the tree. The rest of the hidden gems are for the viewer to hunt down. This is part two. This artwork is one of my hand-stretched ones, sold with hooks ready to hang and a certificate of authenticity.

Beet Pops

Price range: $370.00 through $2,100.00

30 x 1.5cm
x 30cm

2h 26m

This is a digital artwork I created from a photo of a strangers car, I had a newer model of the car and thought it would be cool to use an older version as well. This is the result. I created it slightly under a time limit so next time I'll probably work in more elements.

Replaced

$500.00

25.5 x 3cm
x 91.5cm

6h 21m

I began this artwork with a different idea in mind, then by the time I’d finished creating my 2023 colouring in books I wasn’t passionate about the concept anymore so decided to ditch it. From there I began painting a pear as if it’s being dispensed and squished it’s predecessor, since I’m always making a point about consumerism that’s where I went. After a day I changed the layout and kept the idea although this time the pears drip out from a window and bounce over a more realistic rotten looking pear below. This artwork is one of my hand-stretched ones, sold with hooks ready to hang and a certificate of authenticity.

Bicycle Catwalk

Price range: $360.00 through $2,100.00

30 x 1.5cm
x 30cm

1h 51m

I have a list of artworks I want to create and this started off with one item from the list... Although now that I look back at it I entirely missed the brief I originally intended to create a gold bicycled covered in gold doughnuts. I'll try again soon, this artwork ended up pretty hectic though.

Vivace

$500.00

45.5 x 3cm
x 46cm

18h 24m

The idea for this artwork came to mind while listening to a fast paced song, after doing a minute of research it’s a 132bpm which makes the beat a vivace. This is what I saw when listening to the song so I decided to paint the synesthesia of the moment, I then added a zap and a sheer screen like it’s the song entering your brain. The artwork ended up being a 20 hour artwork which is pretty long for me, although it was also made alongside four others that week. Turned out fine for the environment! This artwork is one of my hand-stretched ones, sold with hooks ready to hang and a certificate of authenticity.

Camouflage Partyraffant

Price range: $360.00 through $2,100.00

30 x 1.5cm
x 30cm

1h 27m

This is a digital artwork I created from another that I'd recently sold a print of and while packing it thought that I should make a version where the spots of the animals blend in with a wall behind them, instead I ended up making it differently.

Watching the Boats Sail Past

$500.00

60 x 3cm
x 33cm

3h 57m

I created this artwork during an art challenge of mine (this week involved ten artworks) and as I looked through a book of artworks I own I saw a seascape with boats and appreciated how serene the artwork looked and wanted one of my own. Naturally, doing a surreal twist. Prior to this in my previous weeks challenge (also ten artworks) I used ones of my doughnuts in a digital artwork and then glanced over at a boat and decided the two need to merge. I’m glad I made a painting of this before a digital piece as these turned out exactly as I aimed. I also wanted to reference an older painting I created, ‘Unexpected’ as I loved painting that artwork. This artwork is one of my hand-stretched ones, sold with hooks ready to hang and a certificate of authenticity.

Grape Crossing

Price range: $360.00 through $2,100.00

30 x 1.5cm
x 20cm

3h 5m

This is a digital artwork I created from the elements of a previous artwork, 'Pineapple Crossing' with the intention to create a sequel since the first one was so well received. The artwork ended up entirely different and far more detailed.

ING

$500.00

45.5 x 3cm
x 30.5cm

5h 24m

As time passed I decided to censor the title of the artwork, just online but once you flip it to the back you'll see the artwork title. I did that as a rebrand choice and the title on the back of the artwork still stands as it doesn't sit well with me when the audience takes it upon themselves to censor artworks such as 'Negro with Parrots and Monkeys' to 'Boy with Parrots and Monkeys' I find it offensive to the times and the artist. This artwork is a psychological game, play along. Look at the artwork title and decide for yourself how I've painted it then return to read the rest of my description. All people I asked, and I'm grateful they were honest, told me they thought I painted the nigger as the chocolate, the genius as the paint tube and most weren't sure what the cactus was, which means I missed the mark just slightly with the cactus. It was my intention to show you that when you're given some words and minimal context the brain fills in the gaps and links them. I've simply titled the artwork with three words that have evolved to carry a heavy emotional toll, 'Idiot, Nigger, Genius" and you yourself added meaning to it without my instruction. Interestingly, this is how conspiracies form; whether they come to fruition is a different story. In the background window I added buttons and strings to play with the idea that you're being manipulated in even the most basic conditions by your own bias. Enjoy the thought experiment! This artwork is one of my hand-stretched ones, sold with hooks ready to hang and a certificate of authenticity.

Snakes and Ladders

Price range: $360.00 through $2,200.00

30 x 1.5cm
x 30cm

3h 9m

This is a digital artwork created from elements I've used in previous artworks and also clouds from scratch (a photo I took). The original idea included pears although as I created the artwork I decided to ditch the idea, it didn't work. Probably a pretext to an actual Snakes and Ladders game, one day.

Sell Out Artist

$500.00

39 x 3cm
x 50cm

10h 59m

During my 80 artworks challenge I thought about painting this when pausing to look for inspiration for a digital artwork. I wasn’t inspired by anything the other artists were doing, however I did notice something very sad. One popular artist made a few skits where she aimed to be comical and barely showed the artwork. Another wrote “I’ll show you this painting every day until I sell 100 prints” as he did a manly twirl and bopped around with the artwork. First, don’t sell prints. I’m firmly against prints of paintings. Second… Why would anyone buy that (to give description it were a white Chewbacca looking animal, and well executed). Art isn’t just a pretty picture and no matter how much you dance around or make skits, you’re not giving people a reason to buy the artwork. Neither of these “artists” gave any insight as to why they created it except décor. This really grinded my gears, and once again (like my artwork ‘Call for Shitty Artists’) I’m deeply disappointed to be in the same category. These people are putting minimal effort into the “artworks” and maximum effort into making themselves look good for the social attention. I’m looking forward to the day they give up on calling themselves artists and go with influencer or comic. On the left of this painting is another artist propping himself up in the same water’s I swim in, only he’s using his artworks to prop himself up, stay dry, and not get his hands dirty. On the right is me swimming, trying to keep my artwork out of the water. The artwork is what people need to see, not the artist. This artwork had it’s struggles as I think this might have been the round where I aimed to make either 12 or 14 artworks in that week. Time vs skill came into play here. I do document my art process on a few YouTubes and Patreon but it’s entirely different and unscripted… Kind of like an actual documentation, you know, the 90’s definition. This artwork is one of my hand-stretched ones, sold with hooks ready to hang and a certificate of authenticity.

Party Bird

Price range: $360.00 through $2,100.00

30 x 1.5cm
x 30cm

0h 8m

This is a digital artwork I created with the idea to recreate a very old (one of my first surreal digital artworks) one from 2017, only this time different and pretty much the only same thing is the smoking bird. It fits in with the style I've created for myself.

Tap and Cloth

$500.00

40 x 3cm
x 35cm

3h 35m

This is an artwork I made during my 80 and one where I decided to channel a much older painting, ‘Surrender’ which I really like since it makes me feel like I’ve teleported somewhere else. That idea, alongside also wanting to turn the sail from the other artwork into a tap, as if it’s making it’s way into this painting through a tap that I used in my painting ‘On tap’. I feel like I achieved the goal for this one. This artwork is one of my hand-stretched ones, sold with hooks ready to hang and a certificate of authenticity.

Pear Light

Price range: $360.00 through $2,100.00

30 x 1.5cm
x 30cm

0h 0m

This is a digital artwork I created somewhat frantically (even forgetting to put it up for sale for a number of years) I ended up with a pear light in a wave of ground.

The Magician

$500.00

51 x 1.7cm
x 41cm

6h 39m

While watching a video about the depths of astrology I noticed one of the astrologers I respect dropped the word “magic” a few times. This lead me into a rabbit hole learning that there’s people who genuinely believe in magic. Not your typical hocus pocus that you see on TV (probably mocking what I’m learning about) but essentially working with the energy you have, as in you can’t wish yourself up to be a billionaire. I found it interesting.

I found it more interesting that these people keep to themselves, essentially the reason you wouldn’t realise you’ve come across someone who believes in magic. I continued on to watch a discussion about the Picatrix. Long story short, I like these people. Far too often I’m confronted with strangers who have nothing better to do than insert themselves in my life and run a muck. So I really appreciate that these people who are into magic keep to themselves. I painted this thought as a row of cactuses, I like to represent people through cactuses. They’re all doing what they do, in this case expected to line up, but the one into magic lines up and focuses on it’s own agenda. This artwork is one of my hand-stretched ones, sold with hooks ready to hang and a certificate of authenticity.

Snake Flavour Please

Price range: $360.00 through $2,100.00

30 x 1.5cm
x 30cm

4h 4m

This is the first digital artwork after the flood of lockdown artworks so I had some time to think about and work on it. I wanted to create something to add to my collection of Lenormand cards as my last snake artwork isn't as vibrant.

Community

$500.00

41 x 1.7cm
x 41cm

11h 47m

Humans are a communal species. It’s a fact. In the past few years I’ve noticed the increasing hostility in the community, and I’m still figuring out whether it’s the times or whether that’s just what it’s like once you’ve settled into being an adult… The veil of everyone putting on a nice front being gone? Either way, I find it incredibly ironic. I look at nature a lot and see how they all work together. I was watching some birds that seemed to be on the same team but wouldn’t share the food I threw at them. One was just too dumb to recognise the extra piece it put down was exactly what it’s chasing the other bird for. It’s funny that they’re hopping around together but also protecting their bounty like Gollum and his ring.

It’s like people but I think they’re trying to keep their pride instead of a piece of food. So I painted a bunch of jolly looking birds held together by barbed wire. The original plan was to have feet but it didn’t work out, so I mimicked my ‘Flock Party’ painting and included balloons too. The feathers fly about like they do in a bird fight and the intertwined barbed wire drips blood. This artwork is one of my hand-stretched ones, sold with hooks ready to hang and a certificate of authenticity.

Bicycle Bridge

Price range: $360.00 through $2,100.00

30 x 1.5cm
x 30cm

1h 9m

This is the final digital artwork of my lockdown challenge and also a variation to my 'Bike Bridge' which is the same although a motorbike. I also played around with new backgrounds and a gold bicycle.

Playing with Artists

$500.00

51 x 1.7cm
x 25cm

14h 22m

Before this artwork I finished a painting named ‘My Bird Shit’s All Over Naomi’s’ It’s a shot at a woman who calls herself and artist and used the guise of virtue signalling to act racist and create problems for me. I used art to vent my frustrations instead of going online and starting some sort of battle with her. This is what I really like about art, it can be used in so many ways and one of them is a tactile response to real life events. Rappers are known for doing his, Eminem, Kanye. I think it’s funny… Crafting an artwork that makes someone reflect on their actions, or better yet, left in a position where the only worthy response is through art. So I created an artwork that I really wanted to put plenty of detail into now that I’d finished my 80 artworks project. I painted a ditch with a maze like arrangement of pathways fenced around to say “Hey, this is my space, stay out”. Inside, if you can find it is a person walking. They didn’t make it across to the other side. I painted exits that don’t really make sense like a large doorway as if it reaches the sky… but this entire space is underground. Stairs that lead to stairs, a hidden door way and so on. The thought behind the artwork is, don’t enter the labyrinth of an artists domain if you can’t respond using your talents. I also think artists should use their skills more often to make criticisms instead of playing into minority themed art to get ahead. This artwork is one of my hand-stretched ones, sold with hooks ready to hang and a certificate of authenticity.

Squished Doughnuts

Price range: $360.00 through $2,100.00

30 x 1.5cm
x 30cm

0h 46m

This is a digital artwork I reworked from another digital artwork, both made during lockdown. This time instead of flowers stitching the ground together I have doughnuts prying it open.

The Precious Room

$500.00

50 x 1.7cm
x 40cm

26h 37m

I’ve noticed western society lives in a culture where people act like they’re on the edge all the time. The Karen. People going around exaggerating any ordinary situation into the worst possible obscure outcome then using it as an example to virtue signal how great they are to want to avoid this potential danger. It’s odd behaviour and it’s contagious. So I painted these people as if they’re blow up toys, all floating around, bouncing off each other. Out the window though is the real world with a little barbed wire in the way. Which is of coarse a sure instant death and much safer to stay crammed in the room daydreaming about potential fears. I also wanted to paint this idea using blow up toys not only as a fitting metaphor but also a personal challenge to see how I’d go painting these. This artwork is one of my hand-stretched ones, sold with hooks ready to hang and a certificate of authenticity.

Circus Fants

Price range: $360.00 through $2,200.00

30 x 1.5cm
x 30cm

1h 29m

I don't think there's enough artworks to relate to disabled people, there's so many that don't acknowledge it so I'm adding to the collection of my wheelchair animals (amputee animals?) I played with depth in this artwork and made some last minute changes to the colours and shapes of the elephants.

Music Under the Apple Tree

$500.00

41 x 1.7cm
x 41cm

8h 6m

I don’t like abstract art. The fact that people use the word “abstract” in so many situations where it doesn’t make sense bothers me, people have said “It’s so abstract!” when looking at my artworks… There is nothing abstract about my paintings, until now. Adding to that I’m upset that there are many decor artists calling themselves abstract artists in order to be treated as a successful artist in the view of sales, however in my point of view it’s very easy to sell decor. A real artwork needs time to be considered before purchasing and speaks to the art lover… Something entirely lost on decor. No, you will not see me throw paint or resin at a canvas for sales. I may however, do it as satire. Since the word ‘abstract’ bothers me so much I decided it’s time I make a real abstract artwork. One where I paint what I see in the form of shapes that don’t necessarily form an object where it would result in a consensus on what it represents, the definition. I painted each item with intent, here lies an apple fallen from an apple tree on a sunny day and music plays. I also definitely want to know what other people see. This artwork is one of my hand-stretched ones, sold with hooks ready to hang and a certificate of authenticity.

Indoor Giraffe

Price range: $360.00 through $2,100.00

30 x 1.5cm
x 30cm

1h 19m

This is a digital artwork I decided to get extra creative with. I used the stretched giraffe from my 'Long Neck' digital artwork and also incorporated a much older artwork from a photo of my living room.

Anthony Albanese as Hitler

$500.00

40 x 1.7cm
x 50cm

3h 55m

I decided to complete this artwork during one of my 20 artworks in 20 days challenges so it’s not my best work, however I didn’t enjoy looking at Hitlers portrait and I didn’t like looking at Albanese’s any more. So I’m glad to not have spent too much time on it. There was something odd going on in politics while Labour was in charge for this term. Censorship became huge, in-fighting ran rampant and there's a general theme of "This is the new thing you're afraid of and we're going to save you". A campaign for motorcycle safety ran and we suddenly saw signs everywhere saying "Ride like everything's out to kill you" it felt like everyone had become political as a survival mechanism, new laws were passed against saying things that the government didn't agree with, Youtube was banned for anyone under 16 so you don't worry about parenting, the government will parent your children instead. Socially, you had to pick a political side and this time it felt like it's a life-long commitment. Incurable anxiety and depression was in the air, but that's okay, it's the new black. This painting is a reflection of Australian politics in 2024. This artwork is one of my hand-stretched ones, sold with hooks ready to hang and a certificate of authenticity.

Tiny Yacht

Price range: $360.00 through $2,200.00

30 x 1.5cm
x 30cm

1h 27m

This is a digital artwork where I decided to play with depth and throw some cubist waterfalls in the background. Most of the elements in this artwork are fresh from photo's I've taken and only re-used the light bulb tree.

Working with the Creative

$500.00

60 x 3cm
x 50cm

3h 12m

I watched a movie recently, it wasn’t very good and it were about a struggling writer but it sparked up an idea. Imagine if creative people ran the world? I don’t think I captured the idea in this artwork and instead painted a reflection one the work place. I once had a friend who studied marketing who said to me “One day I’ll be telling you what to do” implying her degree was better than mine. I guess she’s right about how the work place is structured however ask any designer (I’m an artist now) and they’ll tell you they’ve been instructed to execute some pretty terrible ideas. So this is working with the creative… They’re just doing it because, but really, what would you do if the creative just made the design better? There’s nothing you can physically do to change the design. This artwork is one of my hand-stretched ones, sold with hooks ready to hang and a certificate of authenticity.

Watermelon Boat

Price range: $360.00 through $2,200.00

30 x 1.5cm
x 30cm

1h 54m

I created this artwork from some elements I'd previously used/ created from scratch in other artworks. The long giraffe neck had been sampled from my 'Long Neck' artwork and the watermelon had originally been used prior and then while creating this I decided to start from scratch to really make is as perfectly round as possible.

Fantasy Space

$500.00

40.5 x 1.7cm
x 30.5cm

41h 30m

I decided to paint this artwork after painting a very detailed artwork ‘LLM Lobotomy’ and came away from it thinking I just want to paint blue. While doing my research I decided to paint an arch that you see in many romanticism artworks, probably because of the architecture at the time. Then I decided that I want it in the sky and to just paint the scene you imagined you’d have when you grow up and have all the money in the world. You’d buy those exotic animals and have too many cars so one would always be parked and under cover in your fancy garage in the sky. So that’s what I ended up painting, the future that the child version of you wanted but in reality no one actually wants the obstacles that come with a bunch of extra cars and exotic animals. It’s fun to have it as an artwork though. I enjoyed working on the level of detail in this one compared to my older artworks. This artwork is one of my hand-stretched ones, sold with hooks ready to hang and a certificate of authenticity.

Waterlemon

Price range: $360.00 through $2,100.00

30 x 1.5cm
x 30cm

3h 8m

This is a digital artwork I created from fresh photo's I'd taken including one of my old car. The car's delivering clouds.

Overthinking

$500.00

68 x 3cm
x 68cm

7h 0m

I think we’ve all unknowably been there. Where you’re presented with a problem and it’s quite a problem so you think about it probably a bit too much, then your perspective becomes warped and you make decisions based on the warped perception you have of the problem. This is how I wanted to represent that, your road took a sharp downward turn. This artwork is oil based, is one of my hand-stretched ones and sold with hooks ready to hang and a certificate of authenticity.

Cloud Delivery

Price range: $360.00 through $2,100.00

30 x 1.5cm
x 30cm

1h 23m

This is a digital artwork I created from fresh photo's I'd taken including one of my old car. The car's delivering clouds.

Phantasia

$500.00

51 x 3cm
x 51cm

1h 45m

Not long ago it clicked for me that not everyone is creative… I Naively thought that people were being lazy when explaining “I can't” when it comes to thinking outside the box. Soon after I made a painting about an image that comes to mind when listening to a song which sparked discussion about what people see in their minds. I then learnt about hyperphantasia; the genetic trait to vividly see images as your hearts content in your imagination, and the opposite, aphantasia where someone struggles to create an image. I then began asking people around me what they would imagine if they imagined up an apple. I also knew one who doesn’t picture anything at all, the opposite of me. So from that thought I wanted to visualise this for other people through art, this is how it ended up. The artwork sold quite soon after completing it through an online gallery that eventually shut down. I also painted the background at a different pace to the foreground and used more oil on the foreground which caused a minor amount of cracking, this isn’t due to age but due to process and the idea of how artworks form their cracks will be a new concept for a future artwork. This artwork is oil based, is one of my hand-stretched ones and sold with hooks ready to hang and a certificate of authenticity.

Blowing Pear Balloons

Price range: $360.00 through $2,100.00

30 x 1.5cm
x 30cm

2h 2m

This is a digital artwork I created during my lockdown challenge, I decided to reuse a new render of the glass pears I'd just created and put them in a new environment.

Stuck in my Ways

$490.00

30.5 x 3cm
x 30.5cm

7h 13m

I recently discovered that I know someone else who’s also more than happy to eat the same meals every day. When I think about discussions with people about eating the same meal every day it seems to be quite a topic of debate, one person assumed I felt the same way they did and tried relating with me about the struggle of having to find a new cereal or type of breakfast each day. I couldn’t relate. I’m pretty chuffed to have a fruit salad each morning and the way I prepare it doesn’t sit pretty with a few people either; using frozen mango. Frozen mango is definitely my preference in any regard! I decided to paint these ideas as my fruit salad stuck into a can shape... Being stuck in my ways. This artwork is one of my hand-stretched ones, sold with hooks ready to hang and a certificate of authenticity.

All the Balloons

Price range: $360.00 through $2,200.00

30 x 1.5cm
x 30cm

1h 10m

This is a lockdown digital artwork and I created the hot air balloons out of elements I've used in older artworks, this is the first time I've created the elephant hot air balloon.

Notified

$490.00

20 x 2cm
x 20cm

7h 45m

This is a painting I call “Notified”, it's my phone lock screen and shows the notifications falling. In Australia from 2019-2020 I've noticed that lighting up my phone to see the notifications was often met with seeing a scrollworthy list of updates from the news about the current disaster. Perhaps Aussies have been desensitised to the amount of deaths that casually pop up on our screens. I eventually became someone who doesn’t have apps on my phone and looking back at this artwork, it’s interesting to see the complicated trail of events that lead to it. This artwork is hand-stretched, oils and hooks will be attached on sale.

Stairs

Price range: $360.00 through $2,100.00

30 x 1.5cm
x 30cm

2h 38m

This is a digital artwork I created partly using Blender and Photoshop, I had a much more intricate idea in mind although this is how the stairs ended up (mostly hidden under water anyway) and I'm pleased with it.

Faded Memories

$490.00

65.5 x 1.7cm
x 47.5cm

6h 15m

This painting was originally meant to have balloons shaped as items which spark memories, that didn't happen. The balloons are pumping themselves up from the protagonists hand, releasing themselves and passing through the glass.. The glass represents the gateway to the past and how so many memories are let go, without spite and they all end up pleasant to look at from afar. The artwork ended up going to a woman who saw something entirely different here. She had a dream that her son who had passed visited her in a space just like this. For her it’s a reminder her son is still around. This artwork is oil based, is one of my hand-stretched ones and sold with hooks ready to hang and a certificate of authenticity.

Pendulum Trance

$477.00

30.5 x 1.7cm
x 25cm

I recently joined TikTok to share my art and a video of another creator came up where the person bragged how “this painting hasn’t sold yet” and a painting is all it seemed to be to me. In 1844 Hugh Blackburn created the pendulum painting where paint drips onto a canvas as a swinging pendulum and as the paint runs out the loops become smaller in diameter. Definitely a great concept playing with physics although fast forward a few centuries people are replicating this for the sake of replicating it and becoming sell outs. It brings me down along with the standard of art people are being sold, so I painted my own take. Pears sometimes represent people in my artworks so I painted pears in the shape of a spiral on their way out the window, commenting on the repeated process and how it may still put the viewer in a trance, no matter how many times it’s been done. I also like to see the pears as the paint drops at birds eye view. This artwork is one of my hand-stretched ones, sold with hooks ready to hang and a certificate of authenticity.

Biggie Smalls Tryptic

$460.00

225 x 2cm
x 75cm

Early on when starting out my art career I’d try out different tactics to see what works with me and artworks that had meaning to me, I didn’t hit the mark with this but I gave it a go. I created a much smaller artwork named ‘Biggie Original’ that looks just like this. It was really well received with the people around me and they all told me to do another… Advice from people who aren’t selling artists. I gave it a go and made this tryptic which was originally just three seperate artworks and I later combined into one. It wasn’t meaningful to me to just create the same artwork over and over again and it felt very “I’m on sale at the counter at spotlight, decor” so I decided that was bad advice. I do like the artworks though and it was a good learning curve! This artwork is acrylic, isn’t one of my hand-stretched ones but the “frames” I used are decor prints and the frame is MDF so I market the price lower for all three the artwork was sold with hooks ready to hang and a certificate of authenticity.

Everything & Nothing

$460.00

31 x 3cm
x 26cm

2h 17m

I created this artwork with an idea in mind to continue on from another artwork I'd painted, yet from a different angle (as you can see in the video) then decided to ditch that idea and paint a ledge, similar to my other flat earth paintings except with the idea in mind to merge the water and land into a watery land. Some may see it as a close up on the edge of a table cloth instead. The artwork is empty and lacks lively presence on purpose, my goal for the painting was to make it feel alone, as if if you were there you would be in a very quiet serene environment. Oil based, sold with hooks ready to hang and a certificate of authenticity!

Stitching Ground

Price range: $360.00 through $2,100.00

30 x 1.5cm
x 30cm

2h 18m

I created this digital artwork as one of my lockdown artworks and this time decided to try and work on illusions, the ladders play with perspective and the overall idea was to have the flower grow through the two land masses as if it's stitching them together then attack the ladders.
