I created this artwork with an idea in mind to continue on from another artwork I’d painted, yet from a different angle (as you can see in the video) then decided to ditch that idea and paint a ledge, similar to my other flat earth paintings except with the idea in mind to merge the water and land into a watery land. Some may see it as a close up on the edge of a table cloth instead.

The artwork is empty and lacks lively presence on purpose, my goal for the painting was to make it feel alone, as if if you were there you would be in a very quiet serene environment.
