Where are the sold artworks?

I'd like to invite the artwork owners to email me photos of the artworks in their new homes, please use the email in the footer. If you have a story about why you bought the artwork, I'd love to share it! It's always a surprise to me what the artwork means to someone else, and it's never the concept I intended.

I have about 300 artworks (mostly paintings) stored at home and they're in rotation which ones I get to show off, it's really nice to see the artworks on display and appreciated without needing to be swapped out. I thought it would also be nice to spotlight them here so everyone can see what they missed out on!

Pandemic

Cameron, Melbourne

Cameron wasn't a fan of the lockdowns! He also did a fantastic job hunting this artwork down, he needed it for his collection and from other photos he sent you can see this is a true art lover, Cameron get's it. I think this was one of the few artworks that the intended concept resonated with the artlover. This is one of my favourites and I'm glad to see it framed so quickly! It certainly is in good hands.

Priorities

Meredith, Sydney

Meredith is a big pineapple fan! She saw the artwork and instantly gravitated to it. Years later she sent me and update while working on a DIY project, the table below, which isn't finished in this photo but doing well!

Priorities 2

Angie, Brisbane

Angie, a young mum, has two super active boys and this artwork reminds her of a holiday shirt the family had when the boys were younger. Angie says she isn't great at art but she still loves to have a go, below are her drawings.

Speaker

Nigel, Wamberal

Nigel is quite a fan! I never learnt why he bought the artworks that he did, but I'm glad he bought this one, it was quite a challenge. He then returned for a few more, so I sent him a colouring book that features one of his artworks, 'Vase of Flowers'.

Melting Hand

Nigel, Wamberal

Nigel is back! You can see in Nigel's first photo this one's missing in the photo. He proudly framed this one before sending over a photo. It's always great to see people take care of their artworks!

Visiting Church

Angie, Brisbane

Angie returned! I didn't learn the story behind this one but Angie is a talented musician and hung this one up in her music room.

Tramua

Andy, Brisbane

This was a big one! I ended up getting to know this buyer and Andy was a musician and I'm quite sure he originally bought this after searching "Cactus" as he's a pro at growing cacti. Andy sent a song that he whipped up looking at the artwork which then ended up with me creating 'Andy's Song', which Andy also bought.

Ivan

Dimitira, Plovdiv

This artwork never left this home, it's in my grandma's place and this is her husband, so naturally it lives in the center of the shrine, by her son who also passed.

Flock Party

Bel Vidal, Sydney

Bel is an old neighbour and she loved this artwork because it was created using photographs from the fauna from home. These cockatoos returned to watch me colour them in in my colouring book so I wouldn't be surprised if they're checking out the artwork through her window. Here she is holding her latest book, soon to be translated into Spanish!
