After my previous digital artwork, ‘Coffee on the Table’, I wanted to continue the trend of a very realistic setting however I’ve also taken on quite a few projects at the moment and am short of new background photos. So I decided to use my trusty Royal National Park photo for this one. I challenged myself by using much less saturated colours than usual and editing the landscape just a little bit as well. In general I wanted to use my bicycle from ‘Messy Bicycle’ and put it into this new style. In the end I’m pretty pleased with it but want to try different tactics with a photo background I’ve taken. I also felt like throwing in the regular protagonists from my other artworks.

I’m in the mood to switch up my style just a little bit for a while. When I began manipulating photos they had a very realistic look as I didn’t change the background, I decided to return to that approach although with the idea in mind that I want to bring the cleaned up edited objects from my more recent artworks and merge the two styles. I’ve been looking around my place imagining the objects that have been in my digital artworks so that’s where this idea came from, I also really enjoy my ‘Astrology Cup’ artwork so I worked from there.

This was one of my final 9 apaintings from the 80 artworks project, I decided to paint a bird out of practicality for the time constraint and I also wanted to paint a bird, like a previous artwork ‘Flock Party’, since I haven’t in a while. One that’s in a position you’d be lucky to have photographed… only executed through painting in some capacity. I also wanted to paint something which the viewer needed to think about, how it’s hanging onto a cloud and what is the cloud to each person? There’s a small reference to that cat poster “Hang in there”. This artwork is one of my hand-stretched ones, sold with hooks ready to hang and a certificate of authenticity.

I began this artwork with an entirely different idea in mind where I aimed to create an ocean of birds, that didn’t work out and I ended up playing around until I made a line of birds being eating by a cloud and dispensed as a rainbow.

After creating my recent digital artwork with cockatoos at the window (like the title) I wanted to take up the opportunity to use these new window’s I’ve created, this time with a more playful approach and show an animal outside although changing the animal as the windows spread across.

I decided to create this during a challenge (you can see on Patreon) and continued the ‘Doughnut Town’ artwork where the two share the miniature items between them and if placed accordingly then the Doughnuts lead you out of one artwork and into the other. Like a universe of it’s own.

This is an idea that came into mind when painting my painting, ‘Death of the Rock Piano’ where I looked at my digital artwork using a piano where I changed the colours and decided I should create another with zebra stripes, then since I already created a piece with a stripy giraffe I thought I’d include that and just turn it black and white. This didn’t look like zebra stripes so I ventured on to create stripes which resemble the actual pattern and this is the outcome.

This is an artwork I created during my October Challenge Pt 1 and I decided to create it after having seen an image with an arch door and decided I needed a serene artwork where birds sit perched watching.

As I washed up some dishes I came up with an idea if instead of mayo being in my mayo jar, it were crammed with doughnuts. So I turned it into a digital piece.

This is a digital artwork I cdecided to created based on the collection I’ve created of vibrant possessions, I like to make them look candy-like and wanted to continue my theme after ‘Chocolate Ice-car’ where the curves of the car act like ice-cream curves. This time I look at them like sprinkles.

This is a digital artwork I created after an idea popped into mind where a moon was being carried through a hoop that I use in my digital artworks. I wasn't able to entirely capture what I'd been imagining so this is a tangent from that. The hoops in this artwork remind me of prawn crackers and that's how I titled it.

This is a digital artwork I decided to create without worrying about whether it were too outrageous for people to actually own, just a super sweet artwork. I created the idea based on my 'Beet Pop' artwork with zoo animals instead. I included coloured glass falling from the sky to add to the sweetness and a slightly more vibrant version of my pineapple hot air balloon from older digital artworks.

This is an artwork that came to mind when working on the previous one where I used a photo of my bicycle, only this time I felt like recreating the 'Spinraffe' artwork with cockatoos. I chose to keep the birds feathers simple as their photos have a lot going on in them anyway. I feel like this captures the general personality of cockatoos.

I'm definitely a fan of throwing shade at décor and mass produced (that mimics a hand crafted artwork) art, décor art has made it incredibly difficult for artists to thrive in a modern society. So when I make an artwork that's décor, I'm actually mocking it and therefore not décor anymore. So here's my décor artwork of a fruit bowl.

This is a digital artwork I created based on a painting (which was based on another digital artwork) I created a few years ago, it's the same but green and a bird this time. I decided to have the bird camouflaged.

This is a digital artwork I decided to create as a digital version of a painting I created a few months ago.
