This is an anti totalitarian artwork. There can't be a society where everyones an entrepreneur or everyone does what they're told, it just wouldn't work. I feel like I could have captured that idea better, perhaps in a darker scene. I painted a road with a directional arrow being pulled up into the direction of the life boat, a lollipop representing the no entry street sign and in the corner a hand of someone who's legged it. Oil based, sold with hooks ready to hang and a certificate of authenticity!

This is something I do and made it a painting.. Sometimes when I'm out in public and notice someone looking at me I strategically stand behind a pole so I feel like they cant see me. So I painted this, a street with people hiding behind poles. Ironically though, it could be the pedestrian intentionally hiding or the car moving at a pace where the person you're watching just happens to be behind the pole as you pass, walking at the same pace (relatively) and you never satisfy the curiosity of seeing what that persons face looked like. Naturally, as a surrealist, I plopped the street in the desert and the street lines are floating up. Hand stretched, has a certificate of authenticity and sold with hooks ready to hang!

This painting is a lightbulb, painting a landscape, or perceive it however you like. I painted it as a point of view. Often seeing people online smudging pixels in Photoshop calling the pieces “paintings”, literally, bothers me. When people do this they take away from the skill of painting, once having experienced an unhappy customer who requested a mural from me, only to find out she'd been looking at digital art, not paintings as a reference of what would result. Those are not paintings, there is no paint. So this is my painting about these “paintings”. Oil based, sold with hooks ready to hang and a certificate of authenticity!
