This is a digital artwork I created originally with another idea in mind however as I created it I ended up with holes in the giraffe which then changed my mind to then create a cheese sandwich reminiscent artwork.

This is a digital artwork I’d thought about making for a while. When I cut out the giraffes spots a few years back for another artwork I found the giraffe looked naked, like a human. I return to this giraffe for other artworks and when I change the spots into geometric looking spots I think the same. This artwork came to be while making another and just decided to split the file into two and pivot each artwork from that point. I ended up createing a crowd of naked giraffes as a nod to Spencer Tunick. I also worked on teach giraffe looking lik an individual.

This is a digital artwork I created from a selection of elements from previous digital artworks, the goal was to create a super tall giraffe and I ended up adding other animals into the hood. This reminds me of Greek Mythology.

This is a painting I painted during my week of painting eleven paintings and decided I needed to paint a giraffe that blends in with the sky and stands on bubbles, somewhat uncertain mimicking the way people tend to be much more flakey these days. When plans are “definitely” on, it's this type of definitely, like a giraffe standing on bubbles as a solid ground type of definitely. If you watch the screen recording of it being made or my reel on instagram you'll see I changed my mind a bit about the shape of the giraffe and whether it's head will be in the painting. This artwork is hand-stretched, hooks will be attached on sale and sold with a certificate of authenticity.

I created this artwork from some elements I'd previously used/ created from scratch in other artworks. The long giraffe neck had been sampled from my 'Long Neck' artwork and the watermelon had originally been used prior and then while creating this I decided to start from scratch to really make is as perfectly round as possible.

I began this painting with an entirely different idea in mind, originally having the cow-pear in a therapy chair facing a picture that resembles a window with a tree branching in and the walls divided into indoors and outdoors. Instead I didn't vibe with the painting and decided to get creative with it. In the mornings I have breakfast on my balcony surrounded by trees and look up into the blue sky. So I decided to paint that. The fruit stuck on the wall is my breakfast, as if the cow-pear keeps it there, pulling one down to snack on it and it looks out into the blue where there are imaginary animals. I decided to paint the coloured elephants and giraffes from my digital artworks. At first I wanted to paint the elephant with the same long curly legs as the giraffe although I face an obstacle where people liken my artworks to Dali's so I needed to avoid elephants with long legs. Instead I stretched it's ears into and behind the water. I hid the giraffes face and originally intended to hide the elephants face (although it began to look creepy) with the idea that they share a head. The tape is different on each fruit because I wanted to reference the real life issue where tape always seems to be running out! I also decided it was important to brand the items in the paintings with barcode stickers of my own. Oil based, sold with hooks ready to hang and a certificate of authenticity!

This is a digital artwork I created from an original photo I took a few years ago of a giraffe at a zoo, then re-worked it a couple times. I've been super organised making my artworks lately and scrolled through my old ones and couldn't help but notice the previous artwork I created just like this although the animals don't have patterns on them like my recent artworks, so I remade it and comparing them definitely made it clear to me that I thought I was good then but in comparison.. I really show up past me.

This artwork is when the bubble started to burst for me about when you realise that nepotism and appearance play a huge factor in the way the government runs. The individuals want to be voted in, bbcuase that’s their livelihood so they do things that make them look noble and favour people who can prop them up, financially and through status instead of doing what would run a country in the most fair manner. This was painted during the 2019 fires, I noticed that the most preventative measures were taken in the areas where the more “important” people lived. I was in the city and didn’t have a care that my place was goign to burn down because the government had decided that the area I live in was a no-go zone for the fire. But having volunteered for the rural fire brigade I saw my old friends working overtime to save these other areas. The Rural fire Service isn’t linked to the fire brigade, they do entirely different and unpaid work. Thought continued… Anyway, I decided to paint politics, where some parts are propped up because they’re “more important” and others are left to fend for themselves. This artwork is oil based, is one of my hand-stretched ones and sold with hooks ready to hang and a certificate of authenticity.

When starting this artwork I wanted to use my giraffe photo again, however I wanted it to be different and decided it would be cool to cut it in half and have the giraffe split through the artwork. Once I put it together it didn’t sit right and my skill level at the time decided that melting the giraffe would help. I ended up with this artwork. I’m not sure I hit the mark but I know that art is subjective and there will be someone who really connects with it.
