I decided to create another digital artwork with a doughnut in it since I haven’t created one in a while. While creating it I decided on a new idea, somewhat inspired by my ‘Raffe Popper’, but different and include the springs I’d just created using Blender. This artwork achieves something I’ve always wanted to show, movement so I really like the outcome.

This is a continuation from my ‘Springhood’ artwork where I created a pear that’s a spring shape but also melts like icing. This time I wanted it to be the centrepiece and make it conceptual. While I created it I decided that it was such an interesting shape I wanted to hide it behind a bird. Playing with the idea that a bird really would get in the way of a view in real like, especially cockatoos, and adding to the mystery of what’s behind the bird.

This is the final digital artwork of my 80 artworks project! So I decided to create a giraffe as a party popper. This idea was sparked by my ‘Doughnut Town’ and in the future I continue these tiny things in digital artworks. This is still my favourite of them.

I decided to create this artwork during my 80 artworks challenge and in my surroundings sat my painting ‘Watching the Boats Sail Past’ which shows a bunch of boats which are doughnuts. I’ve tried plenty of times in the past to either paint a digital artwork or digitally create a painting and they never work out, the two genres are different. So here I am trying again! This ended up entirely different yet they both look good enough for me to feature though doughnut boats again. They still don’t cross over, I just now have two entirely different styles of doughbots, I’m not sure if this is the most successful attempt to cross over the genres either. The final artwork reminds me of a video game and the boss is a moon. Check out the art venture video of this one, there’s more documented on the making there.

I have an older artwork, ’Couchmellow’ that I felt like returning to now that I cleaned up the photo of my couch for the previous artwork ‘Elephant Moving Home’. I liked how in ‘Couchmellow’ I changed the colours of each cushion. The artwork also slightly draws the burning couch from ‘Couch Tree’. Alongside inserting what came to mind when creating the artwork. I included the tiny flying cars from various previous artworks and wanted to turn the couch into a bicycle just for the sake of it.

I wanted to create a car in a car while working on my 80 artworks project as something unique although now that some time has passed and I’m recording the artwork in my spreadsheet, this was probably a subconscious continuation from my ‘Road Trip’ artwork and a variation of ‘Car Stack’ from many years ago. Since I decided to create a night digital artwork it definitely turned out a tad different to what I expected!

I decided to create this artwork as cockatoos sometimes visit me and genuinely watch me colour in… I like to think they know they’re in some of my artworks. I tend to have a coffee when colouring in (I have a colouring in book series you should check out) so this artwork is coffee with the birds. Something I’m not doing intentionally is when I’m given instructions I tend to take the instructions as is but give it a creative twist. So if you wanted me to give you an image of coffee with birds, this is what you get.

I recently discovered that I know someone else who’s also more than happy to eat the same meals every day. When I think about discussions with people about eating the same meal every day it seems to be quite a topic of debate, one person assumed I felt the same way they did and tried relating with me about the struggle of having to find a new cereal or type of breakfast each day. I couldn’t relate. I’m pretty chuffed to have a fruit salad each morning and the way I prepare it doesn’t sit pretty with a few people either; using frozen mango. Frozen mango is definitely my preference in any regard! I decided to paint these ideas as my fruit salad stuck into a can shape... Being stuck in my ways. This artwork is one of my hand-stretched ones, sold with hooks ready to hang and a certificate of authenticity.

This is my third attempt at painting gold using flat oil paints. For my first two attempts I'd been trying to mimic a print from a digital artwork I created although this time round I took note that that isn't working for me and decided to take a photo of my cutlery and work off that. This time I noticed that I should be using shades of beige and small amounts of white and black, and not to put yellow on it. Yellow is too saturated. I decided that as a surrealist (you can see this in the video) that I stopped painting a normal step looking platform I decided to mmake it curved to show off the malleable-ness of the cutlery This is the artwork I ended up with, I feel like it's a big step forward from my last two attempts although hoping to nail it in the future.This is a reflection of my skill level at this age. Oil based, sold with hooks ready to hang and a certificate of authenticity!.

I made this painting with a goal in mind to paint the look of gold, I recently had some digital artworks of gold doughnuts I created printed and wanted to wrap my mind around why a printer can print CMYK and have the image look gold and whether I could be just as precise with my flat colours and tones to create gold. I think I need more practice and do think it's somewhat doable although I'm not there yet. I call it sarcastic doughnut, as if the doughnuts saying “Yeah man, I can be gold”. This is one of my hand-stretched ones, has a certificate of authenticity and always sold with hooks ready to hang!

This is my first digital artwork using Blender as a tool, it's the third time I had used Blender and as you can see in the screen recording I originally tried making a flamingo, and ended up with a ball of feathers. I have a bit to learn although it's a great start! The final artwork is my bike with feather balls being lead by other feather balls through the sky. All artworks are entirely original and no stock images are used.

I made this digital artwork to mark my 27th birthday and I was hoping to make something a lot more aligned with my style although I guess it didn't work out that way. However I'm getting good feedback on this one so I guess it’s a success! Each year for a little while there when I was still sharing artworks to instagram I’d create holiday themed artworks and this was one of them. I tried to aim for a similar artwork to my previous birthday artwork, ‘Gold Thoughts’, with a hologram, then I intended to make a giant me in the clouds moving it although I guess not.

Sometimes when I create a digital artwork I create many versions or save a version before changing it and in some cases I can’t decided which one I want to sell. Usually I’ll just throw any suitable version up because after a few years of sales I see that my taste isn’t everyone’s taste and the art lovers often choose artworks I would have never guessed. When creating this artwork I wanted to use my black an white portrait photo but mix it with the challenge of turning it gold, digitally and also add a painting in it as well. I guess I went in loaded wth ideas for this one and I’m not sure I hit the mark! These are the results. Definitely funky.

This is a digital artwork I created from photos that appear in older artworks and new ones. I photographed the road for my ‘Alpaca Rd’ artwork and reuse it here, from there I wanted to create the cube, flat earth look and changed the lighting and perspective so the ground drops off in a geometric way. From there I wanted parts of the artwork to be raised, similar to my Elephant artwork and a painting named ‘Politics’. Once I reached that point I needed some subjects and I was fostering a pack of kittens at the time that I named after famous red heads, Rupert Grint, Pauline Hanson and Ed Sheeran. I took photos of them and here they are! The final result reminded me of Mine Craft so that’s the title there.
