Everything Melts

$600.00

51 x 1.5cm
x 40.5cm

13h 4m

A million years ago in science class it stuck with me that the teacher emphasised how everything melts with time. He specified that even glass melts, as the bottom will be wider than the top a hundred years from now. Super interesting fact! Makes me think of it every time I come across a video where someone hunts down fossils inside rocks, the imprint of the living thing is interesting as I imagine the process of the living thing became stone. So I began this artwork wanting to paint the ground, the dirt, blue to resemble water, and instead it just began to resemble water. Then I included rain the way I like to paint rain, as sheets of clear blue, and a melting/ evaporating moon. If you check out the time lapse or opinionated video of the making you’ll see that I added other items then decided less is more for this artwork. This artwork is one of my hand-stretched ones, sold with hooks ready to hang and a certificate of authenticity.

Snake with Coffee

Price range: $360.00 through $2,200.00

30 x 1.5cm
x 30cm

0h 47m

This is one of the final artworks of both my twenty-one artworks in twenty-one days which then turned into eight artworks in eight hours so this was a time crunch. I wanted to recreate the concepts of ‘Doughnut Town’ and ‘Ice cream Town’ but with a snake and while reflecting on my previous artworks I noticed I hadn’t actually used this snake in it’s original size that I made for the ‘Spring Hood’ digital artwork. So this is the final result of those ideas mashed together.

Bike Jumping Bike

Price range: $360.00 through $2,100.00

30 x 1.5cm
x 30cm

1h 17m

In 2018 I took a photograph of my bike at Bobbin Head and manipulated it to look as it does, ‘Bike Bobbin’. I wanted to recreate the artwork but change it to have two bikes crashing in the air, perhaps use the bikes from ‘Motorcloud’ and ‘Cloudcycle’. Instead I didn’t as I decided to complete 7 artworks in 7 hours, which soon became 8 artworks in 8 hours and this was the result. A tad rushed.

Giraffe with Coffee

Price range: $360.00 through $2,100.00

30 x 1.5cm
x 30cm

7h 45m

This is an artwork I thought up while creating the previous digital artwork where I’d use a tool in Photoshop to smudge the colours of all the layers and add saturation to create a 60’s style colour mess. Now that I’m using Affinity Photo I needed to recreate this but without the tool but figure out how to make the pixels do that myself. This was successful and that’s the pattern you see behind the zebra stripes. Alongside that I wanted to add a wild mane and coffee pouring in a really straight fashion. The artwork turned out very close to what I imagined, goal accomplished!

Funky Piano

Price range: $360.00 through $2,100.00

30 x 1.5cm
x 30cm

7h 45m

Recently before creating this artwork a thunder storm happened where I photographed the lightning and the main goal was to create an artwork around the lightning, instead, that didn’t happen and I created a piano artwork based off my previous artwork ‘No Zebra’s here’. Definitely check out the making of the artwork video to see how it unfolded.

Unexpected 30m Acrylic Painting

$100.00

65 x 1.7cm
x 38.5cm

0h 30m

This artwork is one of many remakes of my artwork, ‘Unexpected’, 2020. I’ve been recreating the artwork for an art battle where artists compete to create an artwork in twenty minutes. For this particular one I decided to go busking however there was a one hour time limit so I decided to paint this one and one other. I hadn’t given myself a refresher of what the original artwork looked like before going busking and I ended up missing the ocean parts of the pear. You can see the live recording on one of my YouTube channels. This artwork took 30 minutes and a few touchups, unfortunately no tips and no one bid to buy it. This artwork isn’t like my other ones in the sense that It’s a “canvas” print that I painted over created with acrylic and it’s stretched onto MDF. If you missed out on grabbing the original painting then here’s your chance for the budget version! This artwork isn't one of my hand-stretched ones, sold with hooks ready to hang and a certificate of authenticity.

Surrealists and Psychology

$400.00

32.58 x 1.7cm
x 26cm

11h 53m

I was listening to a video about Magritte one day and the narrator dropped the comment that surrealists tend to be interested in psychology. I agree with that, I’m a surrealist and I find it fascinating how people act, not in a pop-psychology-internet-article kind of way, in a way that I’ll borrow books that are referenced in uni degree’s and understand you can’t just go around diagnosing people. Time is limited for this activity though. A few years back, around 26, I learnt that creativity is the brain making connections between parts of the brain. Where other people who aren’t creative don’t make those connections. Until I learnt that I genuinely believed people were being lazy when they’d say things like “How do you think of that?”… In my mind, you just stop and think for two seconds, get a grip. Then I continued on and learnt about synesthesia and have a personal theory that’s just intense creativity. All very interesting. Then that comes to the art, just an extension of how I think and representative of how I see things. So here I painted my thoughts and ideas falling through the roof of my mind and entering the real world. The items that represent my ideas then begin to die, “How high are you?”, “It’s so abstract!”. There’s also a reference to a digital artwork I created. Some hands reach out wanting to share the ideas. People don’t tend to look at the artwork and guess what I’m conveying with it, of coarse! That would be quite a party trick, like reading my mind. But the wonderful thing about art is that everyone sees something individual in each artwork and they personalise it.
It becomes a lovely plot twist that the artworks enter the real world to die, then rebirth in a new way for each individual. I find it so interesting that people break down historic artists artworks and label what they were thinking, without descriptions you just don’t know… Bosch. This artwork is one of my hand-stretched ones, sold with hooks ready to hang and a certificate of authenticity.

Couchcycle

Price range: $360.00 through $2,100.00

30 x 1.5cm
x 30cm

1h 6m

I have an older artwork, ’Couchmellow’ that I felt like returning to now that I cleaned up the photo of my couch for the previous artwork ‘Elephant Moving Home’. I liked how in ‘Couchmellow’ I changed the colours of each cushion. The artwork also slightly draws the burning couch from ‘Couch Tree’. Alongside inserting what came to mind when creating the artwork. I included the tiny flying cars from various previous artworks and wanted to turn the couch into a bicycle just for the sake of it.

Novelty

$550.00

38 x 3cm
x 38cm

3h 19m

This is one of my 80 artworks and I wanted to create something that has my style and also similar to ‘Midnight Snack’, I believe I aced that part of my goal. I also wanted to paint this artwork as I’m often using banana’s in my artworks yet I can’t eat them. They’re just a novelty for me. I like to paint banana’s in a cubist way and off coloured so now when I see this shape I just see the fruit. The rest of the scene is just playful, I wanted them to be sliding down a slide and have birds also interacting. This artwork is one of my hand-stretched ones, sold with hooks ready to hang and a certificate of authenticity.

Zouflage

Price range: $360.00 through $2,200.00

30 x 1.5cm
x 30cm

1h 35m

This is a digital artwork I created based on two other previous artworks. The mini series began with creating a bird covered in the background pattern, which then evolved into and elephant and the bird. Then I had one more animal I can use, a giraffe. Only this time reshuffling the arrangement.

On Tap 2

$590.00

30 x 3cm
x 25cm

3h 42m

This painting is a continuation from last weeks painting, I really enjoyed looking at the statue in that painting and decided to re-create the concept only with statues. This artwork is hand-stretched, hooks will be attached on sale and sold with a certificate of authenticity.

Cello

$550.00

40.5 x 3cm
x 40.5cm

5h 43m

This is another painting form the eleven that I worked on in one week and I began with the idea of a guitar growing plants, I liked this idea since plants grow better when surrounded by music and the impact of music on it's surrounding in general. The painting also has the bow saluting back to the cello, and I couldn't decide whether the blue shape is a window or a reflection of a window from outside of the left of the painting, there's a light source from both. While painting the painting I asked Insta what they thought the painting would turn out to be and my pen pal replied with a cello. After looking up the difference I decided that cello's are more interesting to paint and should probably go with it. This painting has sparked another idea for a future painting. This artwork is hand-stretched, hooks will be attached on sale and sold with a certificate of authenticity.

Flat Earth

$85.00

60 x 0.1cm
x 40cm

0h 0m

This is a print of a digital edit I created for instagram in 2019. It's a concept which has been done, although hasn't been done with the colour splash!

Piano and Can in Desert

This is a digital artwork I created from a few photo's I took and popped into Photoshop.

Bike Wall

Price range: $360.00 through $2,100.00

30 x 1.5cm
x 30cm

1h 46m

I've been super organised making my artworks lately and scrolled through my old ones and couldn't help but notice the previous artwork I created just like this although the animals don't have patterns on them like my recent artworks, so I remade it and comparing them definitely made it clear to me that I thought I was good then but in comparison.. I really show up past me.

Bike Rock

Price range: $360.00 through $2,100.00

30 x 1.5cm
x 30cm

0h 0m

This is a digital artwork I made from photos of my bike and a rock, I Photoshopped it to look like the bikes melting and stretching over the rock.

Climb

$600.00

35 x 2cm
x 30cm

5h 5m

In the concept of this artwork I took the saying of things turning “pear shaped” literally. My intention is for the pears to express how the journey of each small progress in my career goes pear shaped so often, but each obstacle in each of those tiny goals is a learning curve that I needed. So I pelt the pears at the ladder. The painting was then followed up by a sequel, they're sold together. The sequel is the ladder being dinged around by the pears and the climb continues. This artwork is oil based, is one of my hand-stretched ones and sold with hooks ready to hang and a certificate of authenticity.

Surrender

$700.00

60 x 1.7cm
x 50cm

4h 0m

This is a painting I thought of while listening to the song 'White Flag' by Dido. The main part of the painting is a sunken sail which takes the shape of a white flag not catching wind, I made it to represent a fallen relationship while the other boats sail in the clouds. Turned out to be a pretty grim painting although it doesn't seem to reflect my perception at the moment, I think it’s pretty nice. This artwork is oil based, is one of my hand-stretched ones and sold with hooks ready to hang and a certificate of authenticity.

Oblivion

$550.00

76 x 2cm
x 38.5cm

5h 50m

This painting came to mind when I was listening to Midnight Oi's “Beds are Burning” song. So I painted it, then took the bands name a little literally with this artwork and made an ocean of oil. At the time I was also in a phase of seeing how much I could reduce my carbon footprint and it’s net negative if you really focus on it. So the concept is environmental here. This artwork is oil based, is one of my hand-stretched ones and sold with hooks ready to hang and a certificate of authenticity.

Piano and Can in Desert

Price range: $360.00 through $2,200.00

30 x 1.5cm
x 30cm

1h 2m

This artwork reminds me of one of my paintings. I’d just taken a photo of a can and had a friends piano on file and I wanted to pop them in an artwork. From there I wanted to make the can of art, so I warped an artwork into the label and also decided to include a geometric style step in the earth. I also wanted to utilise a photo of my paint which turned out pretty funky. This is how it ended up. The artwork is also in one of my colouring in books if you want to have a go at drawing it!

Unexpected

$960.00

41 x 3cm
x 31cm

3h 35m

This painting just happened, I started painting and originally wanted just a pear in an ocean… Then it just worked out the way it did. So I call it “unexpected” as it shows as a metaphor as well. Later on I ended up recreating this artwork in a few speed rounds of busking and an Art Battle. This artwork is oil based, is one of my hand-stretched ones and sold with hooks ready to hang and a certificate of authenticity.

Giraffe Sky Pool

Price range: $360.00 through $2,100.00

30 x 1.5cm
x 30cm

1h 5m

This is one of my earlier giraffe artworks and I wanted to include both giraffe photos I have. I also wanted to play with the idea of giraffe height so I created a pool in the sky and then visiting it. When I completed it I couldn’t decide on a colour scheme being day or dusk so I just made Both available.

Shoe Crossing

Price range: $360.00 through $2,200.00

30 x 1.5cm
x 30cm

0h 0m

I had a pair of shoes I really liked and I wanted to make an artwork out of them. So with these new photos alongside a crossing photo I took and some moons I put this together. As if you’re walking along a floating crossing over the water.

Pandemic

$700.00

38 x 2cm
x 76.5cm

8h 50m

I think this artwork hits home harder for residents in Melbourne. The buyer ended up being from there. When I paint cacti I like to think of them of versions of people and I’m really proud of how this one turned out. At the time, COVID had hit and we were all required to wear masks out in public. Some people inferred that at ini your car with all your windows up too, studies also show it didn’t make a difference and anyone with an opposing opinion was silenced. So whether you see this as the cactus was silenced or the cactus wants to wear the mask it’s up to you. This artwork is oil based, is one of my hand-stretched ones and sold with hooks ready to hang and a certificate of authenticity.

Organ Donor

$600.00

91 x 3cm
x 30.5cm

6h 40m

Interestingly, I had a few besties there that were consecutively vegans. I’m not though, I sit in the camp of meat in every meal please or it’s not a meal. I’d also always wanted a cow hide since first moving out and until I managed to afford a few I had a fake one. Then when my real ones manifested themselves I’d proudly announce there’s a cow hide in the room. Some friends wont step on it and that’s where our opinions differ, I see it as the circle of life and it’s a waste to now use the hide. So this is where the artwork comes in, it’s the circle of life. This artwork is oil based, is one of my hand-stretched ones and sold with hooks ready to hang and a certificate of authenticity.

Cray Ladder

Price range: $360.00 through $2,200.00

30 x 1.5cm
x 30cm

3h 0m

Sometimes when I create a digital artwork I create many versions or save a version before changing it and in some cases I can’t decided which one I want to sell. Usually I’ll just throw any suitable version up because after a few years of sales I see that my taste isn’t everyone’s taste and the art lovers often choose artworks I would have never guessed. When creating this artwork I wanted to use my black an white portrait photo but mix it with the challenge of turning it gold, digitally and also add a painting in it as well. I guess I went in loaded wth ideas for this one and I’m not sure I hit the mark! These are the results. Definitely funky.

Road To Success

$500.00

51 x 3cm
x 50cm

6h 0m

Here we go again with another challenge artwork. I’ve tried this so many times and I feel like I never master it; creating a painting out of a digital artwork and vice versa. The artwork I tried to recreate is ‘Art in Desert’ but since my digital artworks are just creativity vomit and the paintings have concepts, I tied a concept to it. This time the road represents my road to success being paved with my artworks. Still on it! This artwork is oil based, is one of my hand-stretched ones and sold with hooks ready to hang and a certificate of authenticity.

Melting Moons

Price range: $360.00 through $2,200.00

30 x 1.5cm
x 30cm

1h 10m

This artwork was surprisingly well received! It features in my colouring in book if you’re in the mood to create your own version. I decided I was in the mood to create a sea of moons melting at night. Night artworks are tricky though, compared to my day time ones they lack something. It’s not something I’ve mastered yet, in my opinion. However I’ve been told by more than a handful of people they love it, unprompted. So I guess that’s how it lands!

Ego

$270.00

30 x 2cm
x 30cm

3h 30m

Have you ever met that person who has an ego so big they get in their own way? They’re so good that they can’t possible have x, y, z because it’ll bring them down, ironically not realising that not doing x, y, z brings them down. This is that, your big ego so big it hits the roof and starts melting. This artwork is oil based, is one of my hand-stretched ones and sold with hooks ready to hang and a certificate of authenticity.

Bike Stretch

Price range: $360.00 through $2,200.00

30 x 1.5cm
x 30cm

1h 15m

This is an edit of my motorbike, at the Royal National Park, floating and stretched/ very altered created on Nov 6,2019.

Slanty Ocean Mess

Price range: $360.00 through $2,200.00

30 x 1.5cm
x 30cm

0h 0m

I wanted to create an artwork with an ocean and some fire in it, then as I brought in the photo of the land and worked with the water I decided I just want it to look a bit messy and from there made it slanted and a tad chaotic.

Gold Tree Up-side Down

Price range: $360.00 through $2,200.00

30 x 1.5cm
x 30cm

0h 0m

Following my lone tree artwork ‘Autumn Tree’ and ‘Ice Tree’, alongside my challenge to digitally create the look of gold I decided to create a gold lone tree, gold is a challenge when creating it from scratch. After creating this artwork I then went a bit further creating variations with colour spilling and being up-side down, so we ended up with a collection.

Gold Tree

Price range: $360.00 through $2,200.00

30 x 1.5cm
x 30cm

0h 0m

Following my lone tree artwork ‘Autumn Tree’ and ‘Ice Tree’, alongside my challenge to digitally create the look of gold I decided to create a gold lone tree, gold is a challenge when creating it from scratch. Chair Fire

Price range: $360.00 through $2,200.00

30 x 1.5cm
x 30cm

0h 0m

I got myself a new chair and decided I’m photographing it, building up a library of items I can use in my digital artworks. From there I decided it would be a funky idea to have the chairs stacking and on fire, so that’s how this artwork came to be.

Car Roof

Price range: $360.00 through $2,100.00

30 x 1.5cm
x 30cm

0h 0m

I created this artwork thinking it would turn out different to how it did, and now that some time has passed, had I created the artwork with the extremely polished off Beetle I have now I think it would’ve turned out differently. This was a gamble and it turned out pretty unique.

Toilet

Price range: $360.00 through $2,200.00

30 x 1.5cm
x 30cm

0h 0m

One day I looked at my toilet and thought “I don’t have a toilet artwork”, at the time I was really into putting lasers in my artworks as I’d just figured it out. I wanted to make the toilet interesting as opposed to a white toilet artwork and I placed it in a photo I took at Balmoral.

Bike Melting

Price range: $360.00 through $2,200.00

30 x 1.5cm
x 30cm

0h 0m

This was another challenge artwork where I wanted to create a room with photos and shading, it turned out alright. I also wanted to see how I’d do with melting my bike and this is the result.

Painting Bomb

Price range: $360.00 through $2,100.00

30 x 1.5cm
x 30cm

0h 0m

This digital artwork was created from photos of some of my paintings, and put together so it looks like they're in a ball, with the paint melting and affecting the couch. This was a challenge artwork and I’m not so sure about the final result, but it’s here and I made it so here you go!

Dripping Tree

Price range: $360.00 through $2,200.00

30 x 1.5cm
x 30cm

0h 0m

Following my lone tree artwork ‘Autumn Tree’ and ‘Ice Tree’, alongside my challenge to digitally create the look of gold I decided to create a gold lone tree. I then went a bit further creating variations with colour spilling and being up-side down. I remember this artwork really threw off my friend Jenny, who originally told me about a tree growing in a lake in New Zealand.

Turtle

Price range: $360.00 through $2,200.00

30 x 1.5cm
x 30cm

1h 15m

From my 2019 trip to the zoo I managed to create this artwork using the turtle photo before losing the batch of photos. This was a tricky one because the turtles really blend in with the ground and the texture of the ground was tricky to seperate. In later years I spend more time fully cleaning up the turtles to use in their full capacity.

Flat Earth

Price range: $360.00 through $2,200.00

30 x 1.5cm
x 30cm

0h 0m

I think the concept of flat earth is really funny. I also really like the idea where people have manipulated the shape of the earth and I wanted my own, so I created one, titled it “Flat Earth” and added my funky colours that I’d learn’t how to do on my ‘Hippy Hippo’ artwork.

Gold Thoughts

Price range: $360.00 through $2,200.00

30 x 1.5cm
x 30cm

1h 50m

In 2019 I wanted to play with creating a gold look digitally which turns out to be very tricky! Later on I try and even bigger challenge of doing the same with paint. So I took a photo of myself then really wanted to make the artwork something very original, so this is where it ended up. I wanted to aim at showing a visual for thinking through artworks being made.

Joy

$170.00

50 x 3.5cm
x 60cm

0h 0m

While creating this artwork I’d been riding for a few years, a motorbike, to me, isn’t just transport, it’s like being seven-teen and going for a bicycle ride. You have a car but this is for fun. I also had some friends who sold their bikes to exchange the money for things like holidays, which I couldn’t understand. So I aimed to paint my bike as a heart, the ugly kind of organ shaped heart and I carried on the paint pouring from my previous successful artworks. That was partially concept and something I’d wanted to do and partially mediocre advice from the people around me who aren’t artists and say “Paint another just like it!” To my paint pouring concept. This artwork is oil based, isn’t one of my hand-stretched ones and sold with hooks ready to hang and a certificate of authenticity.

Trauma

$2,650.00

60 x 3.5cm
x 100cm

0h 0m

This artwork was created in early 2019, beneath it was an attempt at a different artwork of a woman but I rage quit and continued with this one. I call it trauma, titled before the word was over-used in everyday language by gen z, to describe peoples perseverance. When you pour paint on a plant it has no choice but to continue growing through it, so take that and apply it to your own hardships. This artwork may end up being my favourite forever and has had more cacti added to the collection but with different concepts. This cactus has become a symbol for my artworks as Magritte is to his apple. This artwork is oil based, isn’t one of my hand-stretched ones and sold with hooks ready to hang and a certificate of authenticity.

Melting Hand

$100.00

31 x 2cm
x 31cm

0h 0m

This was the final artwork I created in my first challenge of ten artworks in ten weeks, at the time I was finding my style and you can see in this one that I start to transition from the figurative surrealism to more realistic surrealism. This artwork is il based, isn’t one of my hand-stretched ones and sold with hooks ready to hang and a certificate of authenticity.
