This is a digital artwork I first created after my 80 artworks project had wrapped up and I now have a new approach to make artworks far more intricate than before. I sparked up an idea to create a cloud exploding cartons of milk, as I created the artwork it then changed as it came to fruition. I wanted to leave the artwork having created something using a photo I hadn’t used in a while, so instead of the milk, I ended up using the turtle. In Autumn I enjoy seeing lines of trees and the leaves change throughout the year, so from that thought I wanted to create a line of surreal trees where their leaves are different objects from my digital artworks.

This is a digital artwork from my 80 challenge and I wanted to incorporate the photo of a milk carton I had which I only used once in the other ‘Malk’ artwork. This time I cleaned up the photo so it didn’t look so generic and from there the artwork became different flavoured milk… I could have done blueberry and food flavours although as a surrealist I didn’t go that way. Here’s your milk.

When deciding what to create with my next digital artwork I decided I wanted to create a mini scene in the kitchen with what I had. There’s also an inside joke here, “malk” for those who knew Julian Smith around 2010. It reminds me of sleeping beauty just a bit, I also specifically added the eggs on the clouds as I was going for something there.
