This is a digital artwork created by taking my couch from an older artwork and turning it into a marshmallow via Photoshop as well as incorporating other items I've previously created from images I've taken or rendered from scratch.

I began this painting with an entirely different idea in mind, originally having the cow-pear in a therapy chair facing a picture that resembles a window with a tree branching in and the walls divided into indoors and outdoors. Instead I didn't vibe with the painting and decided to get creative with it. In the mornings I have breakfast on my balcony surrounded by trees and look up into the blue sky. So I decided to paint that. The fruit stuck on the wall is my breakfast, as if the cow-pear keeps it there, pulling one down to snack on it and it looks out into the blue where there are imaginary animals. I decided to paint the coloured elephants and giraffes from my digital artworks. At first I wanted to paint the elephant with the same long curly legs as the giraffe although I face an obstacle where people liken my artworks to Dali's so I needed to avoid elephants with long legs. Instead I stretched it's ears into and behind the water. I hid the giraffes face and originally intended to hide the elephants face (although it began to look creepy) with the idea that they share a head. The tape is different on each fruit because I wanted to reference the real life issue where tape always seems to be running out! I also decided it was important to brand the items in the paintings with barcode stickers of my own. Oil based, sold with hooks ready to hang and a certificate of authenticity!

I can't say I'm a fan of nostalgia and especially not a fan of people who reach out from a place of nostalgia, it makes me uncomfortable. One main reason for experiencing nostalgia is the brains coping mechanism, if you're feeling down, the brain will likely bring up nostalgic memories to cope. So I feel like it's a big red flag when people pop up out of no where, I'm not sure about other people although it happens about every 3 months for me so I made a painting about being on the receiving end. The left side of the painting is me and a very realistic colour scheme, I have a home with some pretty cool curtains and a few cow hides so I made a funkier version. Teal is also my favourite colour. I painted the cut cord of a phone one my end of the painting and a skeleton reaching out holding a phone on the other side. Bubbles floating in the air because I feel like bubbles are enjoyable to have around and I'm having a good time. On the right side of the painting there are some coloured skeletons, if you watch the recording of the painting you'll see I played around with grey skeletons covered in flowers and decided against it. Coloured, somewhat like plastic dolls. I decided to paint the lighting on this side as if you're looking through a rainbow, party lighting. These people tend to enter my life with no warning and barging in disturbing whatever I have going on as if they're a fun gift for me, only to realise I'm a mask for whatever issues they have going on ready to suck me in. The skeletons are holding onto each-other because it feels like once you let one in, a million others follow. Depending on how you look at the pink skeleton in the centre, it's either looking directly at you or at the ground. Sold with hooks ready to hang, hand stretched and a certificate of authenticity!

I created this digital artwork as one of my lockdown artworks and this time decided to try and work on illusions, the ladders play with perspective and the overall idea was to have the flower grow through the two land masses as if it's stitching them together then attack the ladders.

This painting is the start of a new way of painting for me. During lockdown I set myself to complete a lockdown challenge which ended up in overusing my right hand and I ended up continuing the challenge with my left hand in the colouring in books. That had a domino effect. Many weeks later half way through painting this painting it felt weird not using my left hand as well, so now I paint with two hands. The painting originally set out to be just the teacup, although at the time I felt like I could do better, setting up scenes instead of having an object in focus. So I brought in the birds and by the time I'd finished painting them it gave me the vibe they're flocking around a water cooler sharing stories. This is another digital artwork based on the two previous ones, having the tree growing light bulbs as 'centre stage'. Although this time I had the idea in mind to have the clouds wrangle the tree and have the tree shoot out to attack the clouds. I'm not so sure how well I conveyed this although this is the final work.

This is my third attempt at painting gold using flat oil paints. For my first two attempts I'd been trying to mimic a print from a digital artwork I created although this time round I took note that that isn't working for me and decided to take a photo of my cutlery and work off that. This time I noticed that I should be using shades of beige and small amounts of white and black, and not to put yellow on it. Yellow is too saturated. I decided that as a surrealist (you can see this in the video) that I stopped painting a normal step looking platform I decided to mmake it curved to show off the malleable-ness of the cutlery This is the artwork I ended up with, I feel like it's a big step forward from my last two attempts although hoping to nail it in the future.This is a reflection of my skill level at this age. I created this artwork with an idea in mind to continue on from another artwork I'd painted, yet from a different angle (as you can see in the video) then decided to ditch that idea and paint a ledge, similar to my other flat earth paintings except with the idea in mind to merge the water and land into a watery land. Some may see it as a close up on the edge of a table cloth instead. The artwork is empty and lacks lively presence on purpose, my goal for the painting was to make it feel alone, as if if you were there you would be in a very quiet serene environment. This is my second last lockdown painting, at this point I'm experimenting with creating artworks from different angles. I started painting this painting with the intention of making sales in the desert forming from the ground (similar to my 'I Love My Leather Gloves' painting), then quickly changed my mind to create a church with a high roof and a never ending room filled with flowers. It reminds me of my grandma, she's super religious and often preaching, I imagine going to church would feel like this for her, a room full of flowers and daylight – hope. This is a lockdown challenge artwork and one of the first where I start playing with illusions, I stretched the bicycle so that if the viewer covers the top half then they'll be left with an image which renders them assuming that the bicycle is normal sized and close up. Yet if they cover the bottom they'll think it's giant and far away.When the image is printed the viewer should be left bouncing from the top to the bottom making sense of where the bicycle stands.

This is a painting very different to my others, I made it during my lockdown challenge and it became super clear I'd been repeating the same setting in each different painting so I decided that since I'm making different types of paintings I should create a very 2D style one as well. At the time I'd just started learning about illusions and this includes one where geometric shapes sit at a particular spot to create the illusion that there's another image. Here people are convinced there's a vase, yet there's no actual vase being painted. I also threw in my surrealist flare and painted the flowers different colours to their natural colour, similar to my fruit bowl painting. This is a painting I made with the intention to play with illusions. I painted the bricks so that the viewer questions whats going on there, along with the wall, whether its painted the same colour as the sky or glass? At first, if you check out the video you might see this, I started to paint the woman as glass and ended up playing with the pear as if it resembles a woman. I also intended to paint the pear as a guitar although decided to paint it as is and add some attitude, as if it's slouching there. The aim of this painting was to create a serene scene, as if the pear and the woman-pear are watching the tree grow and drop fruit. This is one of my more cryptic painting than the others, I painted a hand with a cow hide pattern and cows legs as finger tips to represent leather gloves. I've been working on changing the structure of my paintings so when painting this one I wanted to obstruct the view as opposed to looking directly on it. The same way extreme vegans may obstruct your admiration of a leather product which may have been sourced humanely. The sail on the tree is something I enjoyed painting and I'll continue it in another painting. Lockdown artwork from Sep 26. This painting is somewhat a follow-up on some of my digital artworks that I've created based on zoo animals with wheels for feet. As if they're in wheel chairs, there aren't enough artworks representing the disabled in my opinion. The painting is of two single coloured paintings where one is torn down and the other has the giraffes head peeking through it, like a window. The sky then rubs off on the giraffe and leaks into the home as if it represents a positive disposition. After understanding the differences and how society overlooks disabled people, I feel like they generally have a much more cheerful outlook on life than abled people I meet, a rare quality. This is a painting I created with the idea in mind to make a floating fruit bowl wrapped in a white cloth. I called it Cigarette for Breakfast because it doesn't resemble nutrients or fruit at all, the white colour cloth is emptiness like when you ask someone what they had for breakfast and they tell you a cigarette... I made this painting during my lockdown challenge (finish one painting, colouring in my book or digital artwork each day) so during the lockdown I felt really short on time and I cut into my sleep often. I found it interesting that one week I only slept about four hours each night and it didn't seem to affect my productivity, this is the painting I made that week. Dreams are really interesting, I painted the globes handing off a thread as if they're the dream each night, warping the realities reflection behind each one. Commenting on how dreams can replay real life activities and twist the plot. I also need to practice making paintings with a red hue sky. I originally had a very different idea in mind for this painting, if you watch the video you can see I began to paint a couple ideas and landed on this one. This was a lockdown challenge painting (I completed a colouring of my book, a digital art or painting) and I reckon if I weren't painting it as part of my challenge it would have been one of those paintings that takes weeeeeks. So I named it 'Get a Grip' because I certainly didn't have a grip on this one, although I'm satisfied with how it turned out. My mum see's it as ladders to heavan, I see a blobs not being contained by the wings and dripping down into the unknown. I made this painting after learning that for each language there's a sign language... instead of there only being one universal sign language. So I learnt a bit, this painting has a hand on the left which says hello in Bulgarian (BSL) and no in Auslan. The whole genre seemed exclusive and excluded to me. Bulgaria only just passed a bill to recognize BSL as a language in January of this year (2021), before that, from what I've learnt, they would learn Russian sign language in school and then adopt their own in the real world. I feel like that's just how Bulgarians do things, their own way. I painted a clear sheet falling down, metaphorical for the language barriers. So you say “Hi” in Bulgarian and rejected with a “No” in Auslan. Oil Based, hand stretched, signed and ready to hang with a certificate of authenticity.

I decided to paint my feelings on décor art. The walls are cactus spikes, like some of my best paintings, at the bottom I painted a man hanging a frame (the décor art.......) as if he's framing the wall and at the top I painted a nod to renaissance art where you can see roof arches and biblical characters in them. Jesus is on the right, dead and holding up two fingers as his coat melts and flies away in the form of little birds. On the right you can see a man ready to jump the wall (for a fihgt), being held back by another and a woman watching over, hiding. I used to have dreams of tidal waves, people like to jump to conclusions and say that's anxiety.. I reckon sometimes dreams are just dreams, especially if you remember them all you're bound to have some that aren't boring. I found these dreams pretty cool because as time went on I learnt how to dream-swim and beat the tidal wave. Then when I figured it out the dreams changed. The last one I climbed up on top of a building and the water settled around all the buildings into a flood, so this is that. I wanted to paint the sky so that it blends in with the water, like an actual dream you cant tell what's what. I decided not to paint the top of the head because there's no thinking in dreams. This panting is music, I recently sold an artwork and the buyer received it then responded with a piece of music he created inspired by the artwork. That piece of music then inspired me to create this artwork. You'd need to watch the last 30s of the video to really get it. When I recently looked up a Kandinsky documentary on his synaesthesia and music he was able to identify instruments to their colours, I feel like music is so saturated with synthetic sounds I'm not there yet.. although this piece was quite clear, the beat are dark blue spots floating high up in the air, the higher piano keys are pink stairs and the lower piano are light blue floating sheets of water. The artwork also had a very bright vibe to it so I needed the artwork to be in day time. Oil based, sold with hooks ready to hang and a certificate of authenticity!

I haven't made a birds eye view painting since I was little so I decided I need one in my portfolio. At first I started painting the painting as a giant bird in the desert cages in by arrows, I wanted the spots to be seeping off the bird into the desert. Instead I ended up painting, what I see as, a bird in the sky and we're viewing the cage from the birds view (just above it) the spots ended up curving as it's own cage downward to the top and upward at the bottom, so if you saw it on the side view the cage of spots would be an S shape. The painting reminds me of how people perceive lockdown (currently in a massive one), in the cage or being the cage? I chose to use lockdown to my advantage and whip out an artwork a day, I'm not in the cage in this case. It's up to the viewer to decide how they interpret this painting. Scadenfreude is when people find enjoyment from other people failing.. Somewhat similar to survival of the fittest. I started the painting with an entirely different idea in mind, when I listen to the song 'Hotel California' I whip up an image of a house that shaped like a head, gold and in the middle of a desert. I started to paint that and then didn't.. When I started painting this I also re-watched a Bosch documentary which highlighted the right panel of 'The Garden of Earthly Delights' where a woman is made of egg shell. So I decided to paint eggs building houses from the cracked egg shells of other eggs. I painted the eggs to represent peoples minds.. As I see it, survival of the fittest is a mental game in this century (besides Rona). This is one of my hand-stretched ones, has a certificate of authenticity and always sold with hooks ready to hang!

I started off painting this painting with the intention of making a raised platform with a boat floating on top.. Didn't happen. Sometimes the paintings I make just make themselves and are entirely unplanned, this one ended up with vines and by that time I'd decided I wanted flowers at the end of the vines to be birds. The way I see it is the vines are your roots and when the flower blossoms and drained everything it can from the roots then the birds fly away. This artwork is one of my hand-stretched ones and always sold with hooks ready to hang!

I made this painting based on a digital artwork I created a couple years back in terms of layout, creating it revolved more around the time frame I gave myself and just creating it so I didn't have a concept in mind. I had to name it so I based the name on another painting I recently finished which also has a floating crossing, as if they're connected and this is the day time version. I ended up really focusing on the texture of the floor because I told insta that they can decide when I start painting a different section.. No one opted for me to move on so it ended up really detailed; that taught me that I can do better. It's up to the viewer to interpret how they see it. I've been super pear focused lately, probably because I've been making more artworks in a shorter space of time and the topics of each merge together. So I made another pear! I wanted to follow up on the style of my recent 'Spotty Pig' as I noticed quite a few people saved that one.I almost left this artwork just as a spotty pear although right before I thought I finished I watched a Bosch documentary which caused me to think twice about leaving it simple. So I added a cage and an ear. After finishing it, it reminded me of listening.. how there's sound around you and sometimes you ignore the sounds and sometimes you absorb them and contemplate. Sometimes when I'm painting I have a bit of a rest next to the easel as a mini break, before I painted this artwork I took one of those breaks and as I looked at the ceiling wondered when my career will take off. So I started painting the painting as if the face is emerging from the ground and when I flipped it to add detail I changed my mind and decided it would be better as the roof, as if someone's looking down, watching back. I painted the ladder hanging from the roof as if it's painting the face which is watching. Painting the career I'm hunting for. This is an anti totalitarian artwork. There can't be a society where everyones an entrepreneur or everyone does what they're told, it just wouldn't work. I feel like I could have captured that idea better, perhaps in a darker scene. I painted a road with a directional arrow being pulled up into the direction of the life boat, a lollipop representing the no entry street sign and in the corner a hand of someone who's legged it. Lately my digital artworks have been receiving a bit more attention then my paintings, although fair enough though I've been making some solid ones while experimenting on techniques with my paintings. So I thought I'd channel into the style I create my digital artworks in. I thought turning animals spotty and surreal was easier in digital form. It definitely takes less time, although this reminded me of a statement my brother made something along the lines of being able to do way more with paintings than digital artworks, because all you need is paint. I find that particularly true with this painting as I could work on the fur with much more detail than I could in Photoshop, I also dont have any photo's of pigs in this pose... I also started painting the pig a day and a half before finishing the painting so I wonder how it would turn out if I gave myself more time. Overall, when I watch cooking shows and how they transform the animal products into something entirely unrecognisable and beautiful makes wonder what the other animals of that species would think if they were watching it, this painting reminds me of that. Lately I'm focusing on building my skills (and using up my black so I can replenish my paints into just the shades and primary colours..) so I made this dark desert, at first I visualised a floating crossing in the desert and as I painted I decided to make it never ending and then on an adventure with my mum an idea popped into mind where I should paint trees that bend downward into street lights. I also decided to change the way I paint desert grounds, adding more detail. I think that if I organised myself better I could have added more detail, we'll see how these skills progress. So essentially it's up to the viewer to decide how they interpret the painting. I like to see it as a pathway made especially for you, forming itself as you as it progresses, directing you where you need to be. I found it interesting how people have a different perspective of you as you, for instance, successful people could make it look easy while from their perspective they would see all the hard work. So I made a mirror reflection of a woman where her reflection shows the wrinkles and everything normal while the woman on our side is made of gold. I haven't yet mastered how to paint gold although I'm a firm believer that when you have an opportunity to finish a painting, it's done and that's a reflection of your skill level at the time. So this is my skill level on painting gold at the moment, hoping to improve. I also managed to convince myself a week before finishing this painting that I couldn't paint people... PMS. So I finished the painting and I can paint people. This was definitely a challenge! This artwork is one of my hand-stretched ones and always sold with hooks ready to hang!
