This artwork was inspired by the way media interprets stories and collectively promote one end when in real life there are always many sides to the story. The artwork is a 90's television with the colour bars pouring into the ocean (into the real world) and two alternate perspectives. This artwork consist of three small, oil based, canvases, 30.5cm each, and isn't one of my hand-stretched artworks. They will come ready to hang.

This is an artwork I created inspired by the current Australian climate in Sydney. All the surrounding bushed are burning down and the sun is red, often. At the time of painting this we were in a drought and the fires were running wild, smoke from the mountains were reaching Sydney. The burning tree being watched over by the cow represents the acceptance of how our world seems to be burning down, there seems to be no change besides throwing money in areas which aren't currently working, evidently. This artwork is oil based, is one of my hand-stretched ones and sold with hooks ready to hang and a certificate of authenticity.

Sometimes you follow advice from people who aren’t artists and have no idea what they’re advising but they’re older than you so you give it a go. I’ve learnt my lesson. The advice? “Paint it again it was so good!, Make more.” I’m not a decor artist and that’s what’s great about a painting, you don’t do it again. I took the advice and twisted it a bit however that stripped the artwork of its concept. You’ll see a few where I painted close ups. I wanted them to be a set with the original, ‘Stacking Oceans’ but that doesn’t really stand up in reality. Someone buys the artwork because they want that, if they were into decor art they wouldn’t be buying my artwork. So this one and the other close up didn’t follow the main man, I aimed to show that there could be a whole new world in the artwork if you’d zoomed in. Kind of like those vector artwork videos where people start off with a scene then create one around t and so on then record the zoom out for the clicks. The original zoomed out artwork is about the destruction of canvas prints, both on artists careers and to the environment. Don’t buy a canvas print. This artwork is oil based, is one of my hand-stretched ones and sold with hooks ready to hang and a certificate of authenticity.

This artwork is a representation of a thought I once had on musicians, organising sounds to make music. I created the artwork to have the shelves look like a Logic file, the melting can be perceived how the viewer sees it; a puddle or a hole./n/nI wasn’t sure about the execution of this artwork as some things didn’t go to plan when painting it, however someone out there, in Malaysia loved it and snapped it up! After creating my ‘Photoshop Moses’ artwork I wanted to create another but differently and plays with illusions. The concept behind it is the imbalance of climate. It’s interesting how one part of the world will be flooding and another will be in drought, it makes you think about that argument of asking water when people say “I’ll end up back in the ocean anyway” This artwork is oil based, isn’t one of my hand-stretched ones and sold with hooks ready to hang and a certificate of authenticity.

This is an artwork I created out of despise for people purchasing canvas prints. You can see a bulldozer dumping identical canvas prints into a pit with a tree influencing that and setting it a light. Canvas prints are made of plastic and MDF, they're built to be disposable and I don't consider them art. The economy pours so much money into this fast-turning-trash and I'm not convinced it's because the consumers see meaning in these “abstract” prints of splotches. I believe canvas prints contribute considerably to the yearly trash load and play a huge part in creating a tough environment for artists to thrive. This is not one of my hand stretched artworks, nor framed, although is ready to hang. Oil based.

My first cactus artwork was a hit and people encouraged me to create more, of the same… After a while I learnt that people who aren’t artists have very bad marketing ideas, you reading this are no exception. But I gave it a go as well as another artwork, ‘Fate’ which turned out quite cute. This one is an alternate universe where the cactus has the ability to dodge the event that was fated to happen, kind of similar to when people do everything to to and avoid an event that makes them learn something the hard way. This artwork is oil based, is one of my hand-stretched ones and sold with hooks ready to hang and a certificate of authenticity.

My first cactus artwork was a hit and people encouraged me to create more, of the same… After a while I learnt that people who aren’t artists have very bad marketing ideas, you reading this are no exception. But I gave it a go. The original artwork is a cactus with paint being poured on it, ‘Trauma’ and is pretty much just dealing with life. This is the prequel to it where the paint hasn’t landed yet. I don’t have words in my artworks so that’s what’s going on with the label. People need to interpret art, not be told what’s going on in it. This artwork is a wall of cactus spikes which looks out to an ocean, I named it boundaries because sometimes people get in their own way. It’s easy to set your standard to high and never achieve them for the sake of proving yourself right that you couldn’t achieve the goal. It’s interesting how people do this. This artwork is oil based, is one of my hand-stretched ones and sold with hooks ready to hang and a certificate of authenticity.

This was another challenge artwork to see how well I could execute painting a digital artwork of mine. I think I did alright but it’s still a challenge in general because we’re comparing pixels vs paint. I titled it ‘Carbon Footprint’ because sometimes to be seen as an artist you need to play into the current social agenda, we are always asked to tick boxes what social issue that is currently popular we believe in. Once you do then your artwork is deemed fit to be shared in specific spaces where it has higher visibility. It’s a sad side of being an artist, it encourages people to become sell-outs. At the time I wanted my artworks in competitions, not realising yet it’s who you know. So I had to title it something that gave meaning to environmental issues. This artwork is oil based, is one of my hand-stretched ones and sold with hooks ready to hang and a certificate of authenticity.

This is an artwork I created after visiting the zoo, the animals looked bored with their lives and their lives were split up into categories; play time, eating time, mating time. That's why I split up the rhino into three sections and under water, being out of its element. This is a surreal painting I started in 2018 and left it for a year then decided to finish it in 2019. It's a bird pulling up or scattering (whichever way you decide to view it) debris on the mountain. The lighting in this painting is reflective of the orange sky and the buildings are shaded with blues and oranges. This is based off of a photo I took from mums friends place in Sofia which over looks the mountain. This artwork is oil based, isn’t one of my hand-stretched ones and sold with hooks ready to hang and a certificate of authenticity.

Before this artwork I created one underneath it, then rage quit and painted this one. My previous artwork was a woman sailing away from an island and I called it ‘Leaving’ because I realised I’d grown differently to my friends and didn’t fit in anymore. Instead, I didn’t like it and kept the mountain then split it and called it ‘Focus’ because I’m super focused on realising my goals as an artist. Still working on it!

This artwork was inspired by a photo I took then manipulated in photoshop as my digital art process. I recreated the image as a painting although with a surreal twist where the tree is side-ways. I call it "Life" because it represents life and the unpredictability of it. The original digital image was also used at my uncles funeral with inspired the new take. This is a painting I created while making 10 paintings in 10 consecutive weeks. This was the 6th week's painting and you can see the beginning shot on a story on my instagram. It was created as a reflection of how well received my Bull painting was and they're the same style and size. The bull was created after the Smudged Elephant painting was also well received with its unique smudged style painting. This painting is a take of a photo of a bear running through water. Oil Based, signed and ready to hang. Weight is a rough guess and the weight of a canvas, the painting also has a thin white frame. This painting was created just for the sake of painting. I call it personality as it was inspired by astrology where different elements create each individual person, so I included a leopard print background, pink smoke and the crow - Items that generally wouldn't be put together.

While creating this artwork I’d been riding for a few years, a motorbike, to me, isn’t just transport, it’s like being seven-teen and going for a bicycle ride. You have a car but this is for fun. I also had some friends who sold their bikes to exchange the money for things like holidays, which I couldn’t understand. So I aimed to paint my bike as a heart, the ugly kind of organ shaped heart and I carried on the paint pouring from my previous successful artworks. That was partially concept and something I’d wanted to do and partially mediocre advice from the people around me who aren’t artists and say “Paint another just like it!” To my paint pouring concept. This artwork is oil based, isn’t one of my hand-stretched ones and sold with hooks ready to hang and a certificate of authenticity.

This artwork is one of my best represented artworks in my original colouring in book, just sharing that you can make an amazing artwork yourself with this one! It’s an artwork I still look back at and think, “I really hit the mark with this”. Birds are meant to represent freedom and money is meant to unlock freedom. But how much have you sold your soul for corporate life? I tell my friends that as an artist, yes my income is currently lower (until one day), but I’m just as wealthy as the next because I’m spending my time doing what I love. Whereas when you work in a place you don’t enjoy, you only have about 2 hours each day as actual leisure, then the weekends, sometimes filled with chores (unless you have robots). So naturally, you spend whatever money you have on compensating. So there you go, there’s your freedom dampened by the man. This artwork reflects the ‘Me Too’ movement, which in hindsight took a plot twist and now see the artwork in a different light. At the time I painted an invisible man, likely with the idea that men can get away with being mysognynistic and having little blow back. Now the tables have turned, the men who see serious consequences of saying hi to a woman then being publicly labelled as a creep online have backed off entirely and the ones who didn’t care, continue not to. Leaving men unseen, the dating culture has paused and in general being a gentlemen carries risks. This may be one of my only figurative artworks, unless I’ve lost and forgotten some out there. I painted this when first starting out my art career in 2017, I’d just began freelancing full time while building the sales and had free rein over my schedule, so naturally I stayed up painting. This artwork was created in about 2 hours. This artwork is acrylic, isn’t one of my hand-stretched ones and sold with hooks ready to hang and a certificate of authenticity.

This artwork has a little lore to it and is unavailable. In 2017 I created a digital artwork of a cup with a forest in it, I really liked the idea and wanted my own mini earth in a cup. A common artwork concept. From there I then continued my challenge of recreating digital artworks with paint, quite a challenge. The artwork was then entered and a finalist for the 20cm x 20xm inaugural art prize. After it returned and a few years later I decided to gift it to my grandma and currently sits proudly in her home. This artwork is oil based, isn’t one of my hand-stretched ones and would be sold with hooks ready to hang and a certificate of authenticity.

In 2017 I went on one of my photography adventures and played down at a park in North Sydney and took a photo of the sky in the middle of a palm tree ring. I often return to the challenge of recreating a digital artwork with paint and am yet to master it, they’re just too different mediums to ace it. So as I continued my challenge I also threw in a different challenge where for the first time I completed ten artworks in ten weeks, this is one of them. This artwork is oil based, isn’t one of my hand-stretched ones and sold with hooks ready to hang and a certificate of authenticity.

This artwork was created in early 2019, beneath it was an attempt at a different artwork of a woman but I rage quit and continued with this one. I call it trauma, titled before the word was over-used in everyday language by gen z, to describe peoples perseverance. When you pour paint on a plant it has no choice but to continue growing through it, so take that and apply it to your own hardships. This artwork may end up being my favourite forever and has had more cacti added to the collection but with different concepts. This cactus has become a symbol for my artworks as Magritte is to his apple. This artwork is oil based, isn’t one of my hand-stretched ones and sold with hooks ready to hang and a certificate of authenticity.

At the time of painting this artwork I looked at racism with a more shallow perspective and thought it’s just about excluding people who just have different features to you. Now I see the complications of racism where it’s a tribal instinct to involve or exclude people in order for some sort of self preservation, there’s also the fact that cultures who grow together do things differently that we’re used to. So, at the time when I saw it just as not liking how someone looks I decided to paint this where one person has two opposing features on their face. This artwork is oil based, isn’t one of my hand-stretched ones and sold with hooks ready to hang and a certificate of authenticity.

Before this artwork I created a self portrait which was another challenge artwork to paint a digital artwork. Then I decided to create another version, this artwork, based on the idea that artists have a reputation of being hopeless, and always high. If I tell someone who already has this bias that I’m an artist they automatically assume I’m high, can’t keep deadlines and all that goes along with the reputation, when really, it’s just the loudest ones keeping up this unfortunate image. So I created a version of my self portrait with a cocain bag instead of sunnies and the plant growing in the background instead of the flowers from my kimono in my self portrait. This artwork is oil based, isn’t one of my hand-stretched ones and sold with hooks ready to hang and a certificate of authenticity.

Every now and then it’s time to paint a self portrait, the self portraits before this one were assignments so I decided it’s time to create one without an institution requiring it. This time with more creative free reign, the background is the print of a kimono I wear sometimes when making art, the sunnies have digital artworks from landscape photo’s I’ve taken and the portrait part is based on a photo I took. This artwork is oil based, isn’t one of my hand-stretched ones and sold with hooks ready to hang and a certificate of authenticity.

This is an artwork I created in 2017 based on my artwork ‘Elephant’ and then smudged it in Photoshop hoping to make a digital artwork, then rage quit and painted it instead because the styles don’t cross over. Great outcome though because it turns out everyone else see’s this as a bird. It took me a few years to see the bird and it becomes a great discussion topic showing people the elephant. Later on I then looked back at this artwork and went down a rabbit hole of illusions. It became a finalist for the Royal Art Society, Youth Prize in North Sydney. This artwork is was originally acrylic then I painted it again with oil once I found water mixable oils. It isn’t one of my hand-stretched ones and sold with hooks ready to hang and a certificate of authenticity.

Early on when starting out my art career I’d try out different tactics to see what works with me and artworks that had meaning to me, I didn’t hit the mark with this but I gave it a go. I created a much smaller artwork named ‘Biggie Original’ that looks just like this. It was really well received with the people around me and they all told me to do another… Advice from people who aren’t selling artists. I gave it a go and made this tryptic which was originally just three seperate artworks and I later combined into one. It wasn’t meaningful to me to just create the same artwork over and over again and it felt very “I’m on sale at the counter at spotlight, decor” so I decided that was bad advice. I do like the artworks though and it was a good learning curve! This artwork is acrylic, isn’t one of my hand-stretched ones but the “frames” I used are decor prints and the frame is MDF so I market the price lower for all three the artwork was sold with hooks ready to hang and a certificate of authenticity.

This is a painting of Biggie Smalls (notorious B.I.G.) I created during a series of paintings including Snoop Dogg and Tupac where I fell into the rabbit hole of watching documentaries of their challenges building their careers and the black community. This artwork then took a spin where I took on the style of an artwork I created of an elephant, named, ‘Elephant’ which is now hanging at my mums place. This artwork is acrylic, isn’t one of my hand-stretched ones and sold with hooks ready to hang and a certificate of authenticity.

A painting of a raccoon I created in 2018 as part of my ten paintings in ten weeks. Just like the other artworks in this project, I hadn’t found my style yet and followed the clues that my previous artwork ‘Smudged Elephant’ was a hit, I didn’t end up continuing to create artworks in this style. I did the trek down to Garie beach in the Royal National Park, NSW and returned with a photo of the Figure Eight pool that I’m pretty proud of. So when the Wynne Prize, 2018 rolled around I decided to paint a recreation of the digital artwork, still coming to the realisation it’s quite a challenge to swap between types or art! There was an abandoned artwork beneath this one where the paint marks can still be seen on an angle. The previous artwork was about the plastic lifestyle of celebrities and showed Taylor Swift cling wrapped to the canvas. The artwork also shows a face if you look at the rock in the water from the side This artwork is il based, isn’t one of my hand-stretched ones and sold with hooks ready to hang and a certificate of authenticity.

In 2018 I did my very first ten artworks in ten weeks challenge, something I ended up doing until the point where I could continually create and artwork a week then steps up to eventually do eighty artworks in seventy-nine days. This was a follow up on an artwork that was very well received, ‘Smudged Elephant’ and I was finding my style at the time, which didn’t end up being this style. Unfortunately this artwork has gone missing! So I guess it’ll be one of those that resurfaces when my career takes off. It was safely hanging in a dentists office as advertisement to buy and it’s home should the artwork sell through one of my channels and the office changed ownership and now it’s gone. Before painting this artwork, I created a digital artwork just like this and enjoyed putting lightning in my artworks, so I decided to see how it works out with paint. It’s a challenge that ended up being a long-standing challenge and I’m not sure the two art forms will ever meet in the middle. You’ll see I try this challenge many times over the years. This artwork isn’t one of my hand-stretched ones and would have been sold with hooks ready to hang and a certificate of authenticity. The certificate stays with me until we solve the mystery.

A painting of Tupac I created in 2016. It's was a long standing favourite for a long time and sat in my entry hallway to greet people. I began it before I began using the water mixable oils and under the oil layer is the same artwork but in acrylic. This artwork was a challenge and one of two (Biggie Original) where I came to realise that portraits are best done from someone you know or have met in real life life so I began watching all the Tupac footage I could find to hit the mark with the artwork. This artwork isn’t one of my hand-stretched ones and sold with hooks ready to hang and a certificate of authenticity.
