This idea came to mind a few months ago after a guy who was learning to be a journalist asked me for an interview, I eventually asked for it to be removed from everywhere. After pondering on this idea for a while I began to realise that most, if not all the people in my life don't really or entirely know me. Some had been in my life the entire time and couldn't even tell you my pass times, other's I had just met and after a few meetings they still hadn't figured out I'm an artist (which is what my life revolves around). Imagine every second of your life is written in a book, the book grows each day and someone comes along and rips out a few paragraphs and runs off as if they've figured you out 100%. That's what I've painted here, the person runs off and in the background flails the page into the wind as birds pick off the words and leave them scattered. Anxiety

I thought I'd make a painting showing how I'd assume anxiety feels, although I don't really relate to the painting which made it more difficult to make it look different to how it looks. Over-all, ironically, I still don't vibe with it. Looks like that's what happens when you paint about something you don't know! I've painted a perfectly shaped mask hiding a face which is melting away, the surroundings are glasses falling and breaking and clouds cover the eye holes making it dark for the person behind the mask. Landfill

My 2022 new years resolution had been to counteract my contribution to landfill by saving items being thrown out that could be recycled at the recycling center, scrap metal or weren’t rubbish and could be sold. I ended up defeating my net zero landfill goal and saving carloads more than I threw out, and as a result it really brings me down to see piles of landfill contributions that could have been avoided with minimal effort. As I continued to see piles of “trash” I wondered what the difference is between throwing something out into landfill and digging up a hole and burying in your backyard. I can only think of one difference, convenience. If you didn’t have the option to bury your unwanted items elsewhere, would you put more effort into disposing of them properly, would this have a chain reaction on the consumer culture? I painted a fence for this, one side is your backyard and the other is the countries backyard. I painted items which don’t belong in landfill emerging from gaps in the land. Some items even with tags, just like real life. I also included dead leaves and the hole where the items fall in and out of as a wormhole. This probably wont be my final artwork on landfill, having already made on on how canvas prints contribute, although this is the one I’ve made for now. Off-putting Behaviour

This is a painting I decided to paint out of frustration for the weird situation some men put women in! When in a professional setting and a man spends the conversation staring at your boobs there isn't much you can do without severing the deal or putting yourself in a situation where people label you a “bitch”. I've learnt that if I just stand about 4m away then I can't see if they're looking at my boobs or not... This is off-putting behaviour at best and I put it in the category of spitting and peeing in public – not due to gender but behaviour, a clear choice. I tried to make the woman myself although she turned out quite boney so I missed the mark a tad. The men around are random and dressed in PJ's, because they're dreaming. The man closest to the viewer looks at the viewer as if to wait in anticipation for his turn. I painted the landscape as a collection of boobs, boobs are everywhere and that's a fact. Another man in the painting can't deal and buries is head in the ground. I dressed the woman as if she woke up and dressed her self in a presentable manner, I always dress well - even when there's no where to be - although have accidentally lead people to think I'm dressing well for them... When I visit Bulgaria it's clear that they also dress well more often than Aussies so I'd put that to my heritage. I painted a fold in the dress shaped as lips as if it's a secret signal which isn't actually there. Pausing to Contemplate Over Coffee

This is an artwork I decided to paint when something didn’t go as planned so I sat on the balcony with my coffee contemplating it. Then I thought about all the times I’ve sat there with my coffee thinking something through. So that’s the birth of this concept, all the coffee’s you’ve had just sitting around thinking deeply. I also wanted to show movement and a little chaos around the subject and feel like I achieved it with this one. Spy Pigeon

I decided to paint this artwork just because I want you, the person reading this right now, to know that during the Cold War the CIA decided to strap cameras on pigeons to spy. I found this hilarious and wanted you to know about it too. The main reason I found it hilarious is as an avid DIY-er I’ve had more than enough things turn out wobbly, and this is exactly how this project turned out, a bit wobbly. The footage wasn’t ideal. As a surrealist I needed to paint this artwork in a surreal manner, plus that’s far more interesting than just human-printing out a photo you can look up. I wanted them to appear a bit strange, the way you’d feel if one landed near you. As I you’re being watched. So I added a chromatic effect and leads to the hands that are watching you. I also wanted to embody the kind of background I’d create in my digital artworks, a clear reflection as if they’re on glass and tried to use green as the sky, like my ‘Surrealists and Psychology’ artwork. This is one of my twenty-one artworks in twenty-one days. I’m not proud of this one and I didn’t time manage well at all. But it’s here and ready for its new home. I’ll try again one day. The concept for this one was to make an artwork that tells a story, which I think it does do. The way ‘Hotel California’ or ‘Hazard’, or any of Bosch artwork’s tell stories, so I whipped out my tarot deck and decided to paint three cards. I rushed it so this is the result. I wanted to include three different clouds and areas as if the protagonist is either returning or venturing out and looking back. The story is up to you. Atheists Make the Universe Cry

I’m minding my own business a lot of the time. This guy who wasn’t felt like stirring the pot so I made an artwork with the following thought. My Bumble account clearly displays that I’m interested in astrology, it eloquently counteracts the motorbike so the guys interested for the wrong reasons tend to be scared off by the astrology. A guy one day thought he’d take that into account and begin arguing at me… At. He sent photos intended to offend any religion but he didn’t understand that astrology isn’t a religion. So it felt like arguing with an idiot since he had no idea what he was so against, repeatedly emphasising he’s an atheist. After that I really wondered, why are these atheists so insistent on converting people with beliefs, they’re trying to use reason but faith isn’t based on reason… It’s purely belief so you can’t argue with science. The thought then continues to where you see this artwork, people who truely believe in something have a sense of everything being fine, and just a bit rocky on the way. I feel like I can blindly follow my gut knowing my career will work out because I believe the universe has my back. So how are these people living their lives if they don’t have any faith that they’re here for a reason. I painted a brick path leading into a ditch, behind it a rose coloured glass wall where the people who do believe make the leap and land. Tear drops are scattered everywhere around the landscape, the universe is crying. I also believe that it’s important to be kind since we’re a communal species and literally work together to continue living. If someone’s going around mindlessly attacking others, intending to shatter their sense of purpose the world is affected through a chain reaction. So this is the atheists making the universe cry. Call for Shitty Artists

In case another artist glances over this artwork, this is aimed at some of my peers. As someone who isn’t surrounded by art lovers or enthusiasts I’m letting you know that the general public still and has always looked at artworks with no effort put in it and ask themselves “WTF is this shit?”. I will redo this concept with a different take however when I saw someone on tv explaining to someone else it’s what the artwork makes them feel I felt like painting this. I feel conned from both perspectives as a viewer and an artist. I feel conned that someone else created something that looks like a 5 yr old made it and expects people to buy into it (literally) without giving the buyer a good reason except for the artists name being attached to it. As an artist I feel conned as people don’t have high expectations until they see my artworks, these artworks create a low bar of expectations and make the career choice look bad. I’m embarrassed to be in the same (general) category. I aimed for a simple artwork for two reasons, 80 artworks in 79 days, and I originally imaged a statue of a bust, giant like this one and half finished by one of these trendy artists. I painted a paint brush thrown at it, since that’s what I imagine these people are doing. I’ll have another go at this with an entirely different scene soon. You can see this trend particularly pronounced in elite art competitions, “Call for shitty artists”, said no one ever. It’s time for people creating these to reconnect with the general public over an elite crowd propping them up. This artwork is a slight continuation from last week and a mix of another artwork I created a while back which I enjoy, ‘Midnight Snack’. There’s something I haven’t been able to recreate about that artwork yet so I gave it another go with this artwork (not quite there yet). I’m really into my crepes, I think I’ve got them down. Each day at brunch I have a lovely snack with crepes admiring how the plants have grown over the past day. I have them with a coffee, ham and creamed honey and used to have a swarm of bees visit (hoping to staunch some honey). This is a painting I decided to paint out of disappointment I never received any roses from a failed relationship. Although I didn’t want to just paint a bouquet of flowers, like some “décor artist”. I began with the hand reaching out and the flowers drifting off in the wind. As I painted it I did receive a gesture although it felt empty, a compensation for communication which to me, entirely exhausted my efforts, so I then began to paint the leaves closest to the hand turning into drops of blood. I did have plans to turn the leaves floating away as transparent but I grew bored of the artwork and wrapped it up there. I also have more work to do in painting flowers. Things You Think You Own

This is an artwork I decided to paint after the thought crossed my mind that no one actually owns anything, if you have a pet bird the only reasons you believe you own it is because you either formed a bond or it’s stuck in a cage. The same principle could be applied to other humans, if you’re in any type of relationship with someone you can’t claim you own them because society has labelled that action as anti-social. You don’t own anyone, you’ve formed a bond to keep them around or they’re being held hostage. On that idea I painted a bird carrying a pear with a barcode print on them. The concept of not actually owning anything seems harder to grasp with inanimate objects such as a pear, you don’t own a pear either, you tell people it’s yours and out of respect, inconvenience or fear they don’t take it from you. This is a painting I decided to paint in reference to two other artworks, ‘Midnight Snack’ and ‘Dreaming of Tidal Waves’. I enjoy painting in that style and felt like painting a dark artwork having ventured into difference styles recently. I intended on painting some form of dreaming and as I tried to paint through sleep (I’d been creating ten artworks that week) I repeatedly woke from mini-almost naps with new ideas for this artwork. Unfortunately I didn’t allow myself enough time to include all the ideas (they’re included in my YouTube artventure video though) although I do believe I managed to reach an entry level representation of waking up. I painted the clear sheet of water as the feeling of moving from sleep to wake and the deep thick, non-transparent water as the sleep. I originally planned to include my pineapple hot air balloon from other artworks although that didn’t work out so I lead the rope to nowhere. This is a painting I painted during my week of painting eleven paintings and decided I needed to paint a giraffe that blends in with the sky and stands on bubbles, somewhat uncertain mimicking the way people tend to be much more flakey these days. When plans are “definitely” on, it's this type of definitely, like a giraffe standing on bubbles as a solid ground type of definitely. If you watch the screen recording of it being made or my reel on instagram you'll see I changed my mind a bit about the shape of the giraffe and whether it's head will be in the painting. This is a painting I created with a similar idea in mind to a digital artwork I created after the Christchurch shooting where the countries blood stain a top. I'd included all the countries in the digital artwork although this time wanted to emphasise the diversity of the countries. I'm often watching geography and history videos and a student recently asked me if the war with Ukraine would start WWIII. Without knowing the history of all the wars of the world it would seem that way but when you look up the history of each country there's usually a war included. So I painted it as if this is the load of washing you've done and you've hung it out to dry, to stay that way. I also tried to include an aspect I included in an older painting, 'The Essence of Freedom' where the flowers represents birds enjoying freedom. This time the wing is also hung out to dry. Dreaming of Tidal Waves

I used to have dreams of tidal waves, people like to jump to conclusions and say that's anxiety.. I reckon sometimes dreams are just dreams, especially if you remember them all you're bound to have some that aren't boring. I found these dreams pretty cool because as time went on I learnt how to dream-swim and beat the tidal wave. Then when I figured it out the dreams changed. The last one I climbed up on top of a building and the water settled around all the buildings into a flood, so this is that. I wanted to paint the sky so that it blends in with the water, like an actual dream you cant tell what's what. I decided not to paint the top of the head because there's no thinking in dreams. Birds Eye View

I haven't made a birds eye view painting since I was little so I decided I need one in my portfolio. At first I started painting the painting as a giant bird in the desert cages in by arrows, I wanted the spots to be seeping off the bird into the desert. Instead I ended up painting, what I see as, a bird in the sky and we're viewing the cage from the birds view (just above it) the spots ended up curving as it's own cage downward to the top and upward at the bottom, so if you saw it on the side view the cage of spots would be an S shape. The painting reminds me of how people perceive lockdown (currently in a massive one), in the cage or being the cage? I chose to use lockdown to my advantage and whip out an artwork a day, I'm not in the cage in this case. It's up to the viewer to decide how they interpret this painting. This is an anti totalitarian artwork. There can't be a society where everyones an entrepreneur or everyone does what they're told, it just wouldn't work. I feel like I could have captured that idea better, perhaps in a darker scene. I made this painting with a goal in mind to paint the look of gold, I recently had some digital artworks of gold doughnuts I created printed and wanted to wrap my mind around why a printer can print CMYK and have the image look gold and whether I could be just as precise with my flat colours and tones to create gold. I think I need more practice and do think it's somewhat doable although I'm not there yet. I call it sarcastic doughnut, as if the doughnuts saying “Yeah man, I can be gold”. Car Lessons

Recently I retired my latest car.. reluctantly. Which caused me to reflect on how my previous cars have held a theme for what I was doing at that time in my life. My first car, I never liked the colour and didn't have a choice in it (although purchased it myself) from 'day dot' I said I'd paint it blue. It never turned out blue but I gained some skills spray-painting cars, this car went all the colours. The day it was written off I had big plans for the next spray. The next car, above it. I carried on the spray-painting only once and learnt how to wire up electricity. I ended up putting 22 indicators on it, like a mini truck, and put another models headlights on it. The bottom lit up with blue as I high-beamed. That car didn't last long. The final car I decided it was time to look like an adult, so I sprayed it only to fix the previous owners blemishes. I kept the lights as normal to possible and practiced how to advertise with it (without permanently altering the car). Since this painting I've tied in all the lessons I'd learnt from my previous cars in my new one, I've sprayed it, hooked up lights and made an unmissable advertisement for my books. I found it very interesting how people become attached to cars and not other objects, as if you become the car. Oil based, sold with hooks ready to hang and a certificate of authenticity!

Devils Lake

This is a painting inspired by an event, Uranus transiting my 7th house, where you tend to shake off relationships that aren't working. I had some people from a past life lure their way back in only to notice the same patterns started before I'd even seen them. The lake has spikes, I imagine how uncomfortable that lake would be to swim in.. spiky water which is fenced off, a barrier. I've painted a hand (mine) stretching down from the sky dipping it's finger in the water through the fence, expressing how much of a stretch it would be for me to actually give that lake any real attention. Religion of Time

This painting was inspired by a little tangent I went on after being asked the question “What's your biggest weakness” when I put myself up for an opportunity. I ended up saying something along the lines of “I don't get why people get so bothered when you're late or bad with time.. It's like they've chosen to live their life strictly to a religion of time and expect everyone else to do the same in dictatorship. I don't live my life by that religion and that should be acceptable”. I found that a little funny, hyperbolic yet resinates. So this is my painting to represent it. The statue is my head, I guess, just a female, made of sand emerging from the ground and cut off as if it's thoughts are purely time. My clock has no order, the numbers float away, turning into yellow birds. The water also represents the constant flowing where you'll (in general) never get a grip. I made this painting following a digital artwork of fruit that wasn't the correct shapes, and ran with the banana idea. The concept is based around the way lots of people live their lives, unnaturally posed in front of a screen ordering takeaway, connected to the other screens and that's their reality. The outdoors of the painting was going to include magenta (to have a mix of CMYK.. graphic design jargon) although it looked too space-like for my liking. Vegan

I felt like making another fruit bowl painting although with a cow hide skin instead of fruit skin, I thought about having one fruit cut open although that idea's probably going to be for a sequel painting. I call it vegan, I'm not the biggest fan of vegan diets so I guess this is my expression that there's no substitute for meat. Can be taken lightly as a metaphor for tofu and how vegans transform it into all the flavours. Sometimes you follow advice from people who aren’t artists and have no idea what they’re advising but they’re older than you so you give it a go. I’ve learnt my lesson. The advice? “Paint it again it was so good!, Make more.” I’m not a decor artist and that’s what’s great about a painting, you don’t do it again. I took the advice and twisted it a bit however that stripped the artwork of its concept. You’ll see a few where I painted close ups. I wanted them to be a set with the original, ‘Stacking Oceans’ but that doesn’t really stand up in reality. Someone buys the artwork because they want that, if they were into decor art they wouldn’t be buying my artwork. So this one and the other close up didn’t follow the main man, I aimed to show that there could be a whole new world in the artwork if you’d zoomed in. Kind of like those vector artwork videos where people start off with a scene then create one around t and so on then record the zoom out for the clicks. The original zoomed out artwork is about the destruction of canvas prints, both on artists careers and to the environment. Don’t buy a canvas print. Before this artwork I created one underneath it, then rage quit and painted this one. My previous artwork was a woman sailing away from an island and I called it ‘Leaving’ because I realised I’d grown differently to my friends and didn’t fit in anymore. Instead, I didn’t like it and kept the mountain then split it and called it ‘Focus’ because I’m super focused on realising my goals as an artist. Still working on it!

Lightning Waterfall

Unfortunately this artwork has gone missing! So I guess it’ll be one of those that resurfaces when my career takes off. It was safely hanging in a dentists office as advertisement to buy and it’s home should the artwork sell through one of my channels and the office changed ownership and now it’s gone. Before painting this artwork, I created a digital artwork just like this and enjoyed putting lightning in my artworks, so I decided to see how it works out with paint. It’s a challenge that ended up being a long-standing challenge and I’m not sure the two art forms will ever meet in the middle. You’ll see I try this challenge many times over the years. Primary Flavours

This is a painting I made based on the concept of primary colours, where you can mix yellow, blue and red in any combination along with the shades black and white to make any colour. I went through a mini phase in 2020 trying to improve my cooking and thought why can't making flavours be like making colours? Why can't we assign sour sweet ect. In order to make it clear what goes “well” together. The painting is a skewer of a lemon (yellow/ sour), blueberry (blue/ sweet) and chilli (red/ spicy) dripping down their colours where the drips mix to form a watermelon which floats to the surface, in the background are oranges and cucumbers already formed. This painting warrants a second thought after I show off my painting “Cheese”, one I made a few weeks later after learning something about my brain and flavours. This is something I do and made it a painting.. Sometimes when I'm out in public and notice someone looking at me I strategically stand behind a pole so I feel like they cant see me. So I painted this, a street with people hiding behind poles. Ironically though, it could be the pedestrian intentionally hiding or the car moving at a pace where the person you're watching just happens to be behind the pole as you pass, walking at the same pace (relatively) and you never satisfy the curiosity of seeing what that persons face looked like. This is an artwork I wanted to paint having recently seen a much older artwork ‘Personality’ and wanted to create a new one with the same spots. From there I painted a window and felt like painting someone on the other side looking in. On the inside I continued a very unexpected scene with the bird and light from the spots. While painting it I wanted to paint the idea of peeking into someone else’s thoughts or point of view, only after I finished the artwork I managed to put the idea together verbally and this isn’t my artwork on conspiracy theories (one on the way) but I’ve decided to look into many conspiracy theories as I find them interesting. So it’s peering into another world that exists alongside yours but it may be unsettlingly different. This painting is for all the optimists out there. When I wake up and make breakfast I see a fun day ahead, still full of work although at the same time feels like a holiday. In 2017 I went on one of my photography adventures and played down at a park in North Sydney and took a photo of the sky in the middle of a palm tree ring. I often return to the challenge of recreating a digital artwork with paint and am yet to master it, they’re just too different mediums to ace it. So as I continued my challenge I also threw in a different challenge where for the first time I completed ten artworks in ten weeks, this is one of them. I am the last person you should ask what the time is, ever. This artwork is part of my twenty in twenty days and the entire time I consistently gauged the time wrong which affected the project. While brainstorming idea’s I reflected on how I’ve encountered people who are sticklers for time, down to the minute. The kind who think being five minutes late is late, I’ve definitely been grilled by these people because they explain they think it’s out of disrespect for them. So I felt like painting a visual of what time looks like in my world vs what it’s probably like in theirs. I’m the left… and sometimes my total mess happens to throw a little shade on their blocks. It’s not intentional, my blocks are a mess all the time and sometimes there’s collateral damage. I find it vein when these people walk around thinking people bad with time are out to disrespect them. Times Passing You By

This is the final idea from my 80 artworks challenge and I aimed to show how people let time pass them by so easily. Definitely not as well executed as other artworks and an idea I’ll definitely come back to. I began the challenge as I saw a planet alignment coming up and needed to make sure I have my artworks set so whatever comes my way won’t affect the art machine. A daunting idea, 80 artworks in 77 days (and I went over by 2 days). Yet every time I thought about it I looked back at my other goals that year and reflected on how many activities I’ve completed by just showing up. Showing up is easy, then staying is easy. 

So many people let time pass them by and it could have been very easy for me to just say “tomorrow” over and over again for the 11 weeks and missed my window. I’ve done it before, and it’s not a good feeling looking back and seeing you wasted months on end putting off a one hour task. So this is the artwork, a thinking statue and their head flying off with the birds as if they’re time. But this guy isn’t going anywhere, he’s just kidding himself. Never Really Gone

I really enjoyed painting ‘Everything and Nothing’, an artwork similar to this with a pear shaped hill, alluding to there being a pear, yet it’s just a landscape so there’s nothing there. That artworks gone now and I wanted to create another, however slightly different idea in mind. This time the hill is a cow. Death reminded me of this idea, when you bury a pet, or anything, the grass is greener, so naturally the moisture droplets evaporate through the greenery over night. When someone dies, you don’t just forget they existed so I painted the water hanging over the hill like memories. Night Walk

This artwork is one of my 80 in 79 days and I decided to paint the feeling of a night walk. However this turned out very different to the idea I had in mind which included a building. I painted the rain as sheets of water hanging off the clouds alongside another artwork I painted that week, evaporating from the river. Including the water for that feeling of a cold breeze and boats sailing along the sand like the quiet, out of place vibe. The Fortune Teller

This is an artwork I decided to create after wondering about fortune tellers and how they end up becoming one. I knew a woman who seemingly decided to become one one day, she wasn’t the most honest person so I genuinely questioned her motives. Others have their own paths, so I painted a fortune teller at an empty fair in her hut. Behind her the hut continues to stretch into the blurry distance, underneath I painted symbols of life events that could have led her to this career, they can be interpreted as the viewer wishes, although I wanted to include items that symbolise religion, time, spirits, threats, money and so on. Confirmation Bias

After some indecision with the concept on this artwork I’d watched a Tom Cruise interview being analysed and the journalist brought up confirmation bias; going into your research on a topic only to confirm your opinion. So I decided to play with this idea. You may look at this artwork and see the floating circles creating a large cylinder shape, or you might see them as a flat mesh of circles pivoting on their own axis, you might even decide that they aren’t circles and some are ellipses. The next decision the viewer would make is to look for other elements in the artwork to give confirm whichever opinion they’ve set on. I haven’t included any hints to which is what, so, to mimic anyones real life research to confirm their bias on anything it’s up to you to see what’s not intentionally there to confirm what you see and the environment is the same for everyone. See Through

This oil painting came to mind while finishing off the previous artwork where I painted in some tape. I then decided to paint an object with multiple clear items on top. This then turned into painting make-up brushes and making a thought piece on makeup. Are we using makeup to become the standard, or in some cases the choice of makeup could show exactly what they're trying to hide. This artwork is out of my element, using less contrast as I normally would and pastel colours while also challenging myself to paint transparency over transparency. Cigarette for Breakfast

This is a painting I created with the idea in mind to make a floating fruit bowl wrapped in a white cloth. I called it Cigarette for Breakfast because it doesn't resemble nutrients or fruit at all, the white colour cloth is emptiness like when you ask someone what they had for breakfast and they tell you a cigarette... Insomnia

I made this painting during my lockdown challenge (finish one painting, colouring in my book or digital artwork each day) so during the lockdown I felt really short on time and I cut into my sleep often. I found it interesting that one week I only slept about four hours each night and it didn't seem to affect my productivity, this is the painting I made that week. Dreams are really interesting, I painted the globes handing off a thread as if they're the dream each night, warping the realities reflection behind each one. Commenting on how dreams can replay real life activities and twist the plot. I also need to practice making paintings with a red hue sky. I've been super pear focused lately, probably because I've been making more artworks in a shorter space of time and the topics of each merge together. So I made another pear! I wanted to follow up on the style of my recent 'Spotty Pig' as I noticed quite a few people saved that one.I almost left this artwork just as a spotty pear although right before I thought I finished I watched a Bosch documentary which caused me to think twice about leaving it simple. So I added a cage and an ear. After finishing it, it reminded me of listening.. how there's sound around you and sometimes you ignore the sounds and sometimes you absorb them and contemplate. Seventh Lifetime

I started this with the intention to make a painting with a cow hide floor in the desert, where the hide is the ground. I then made the painting as I went along and painted bones then birds emerging from the hide, flying into the clouds and seedlings sprouting. When I finished the painting I decided to name it after what comes to mind when I look at it, reincarnation comes to mind. I named it 7th lifetime because I wanted to leave the feeling with the viewer that it's a cycle on repeat. In the distance a red planet, red for energy. Cheese

A few weeks back my mates asked me what this juice that I made tasted like and I told them.. “round and brown”. I repeated myself because I often confuse people with some of the things I say and they told me “Oh you're synesthetic”. I had no clue what they meant.. At first I thought that meant that you see colours with music although soon learnt it includes any trigger of another sense when using a different one. After a week of going in a google rabbit hole I learnt that I do a few.. But this painting is based on tasting the shapes and colours of flavours. This is cheese, I'm lactose intolerant so there's only one yellow cheese I can buy, it doesn't say what type and this is what I see when I taste cheese. A rich smooth orange/red brown (like the Australian earth colour, the yellow sunset is the sharp aftertaste that follows, yet, I'm not focused on that) and the cheese has a wide flavour, so I express the wide-ness as a clear sheet (warmer than glass) floating over and moulding with the curves of the ground that stretches as far as you can see.
