This is my second last lockdown painting, at this point I’m experimenting with creating artworks from different angles. I started painting this painting with the intention of making sales in the desert forming from the ground (similar to my ‘I Love My Leather Gloves’ painting), then quickly changed my mind to create a church with a high roof and a never ending room filled with flowers. It reminds me of my grandma, she’s super religious and often preaching, I imagine going to church would feel like this for her, a room full of flowers and daylight – hope.
