I’m against doing commissions however this one seemed a tad unique and I took it on, the end result doesn’t look like this and I won’t be showing the final result. That is exclusive to the owner and I’m very proud of the first version.
The original request of this artwork were to re-create a small painting I’d made, ‘Solid Choice’, only larger. I changed this artwork up accordingly, this time keeping the sheet flat and having water holding it up. I included the spotty birds which feature in my artwork, ‘Flock Party’ to represent a rainbow which refers to a jargon term from an event in the owners life. I included a pear as my stamp on the artwork and Virgo the constellation as the man in the painting has an Irish/ Russian background which both share a Virgo rising sign. Since I’ve been looking at Bosch artworks lately I’m interested in adding detail in the artworks. There is morse code in this one.
