I decided to paint a self portrait since I happen to be whipping them out every few years, this time I didn’t paint it as a mid-shot front on artwork but a reflection of how I’ve spent my 20’s. Painting until I drop at the easel. Painting the look of gold (without using gold) is a challenge I’ve been working on lately and my home is gold themed so I tackled that in this painting as well, turning the furniture gold. I still don’t think I’ve figured it out so I guess it’s also a reflection of how much progress I’d made with gold by this age.
This artwork is hand-stretched, hooks will be attached on sale and sold with a certificate of authenticity.
