I use the word frank as an adjective. Sometimes, when someone’s being frank they may come to a conclusion without having full thought through the idea or researched the topic and often encounter people who tell me they “don’t get art” and to them a painting on a wall may as well be a black hole for money, which to be frank, is quite a statement to tell someone about their career. Yet to me it’s ironic that people can appreciate the beauty of the rest of the world around them, just not value an idea being presented as an image. It’s interesting, so that’s what I painted.
